Finally, a course in Florida with elevation changes that is in great shape and worth the trip. Just go, and you'll see. Can't wait to try the Pines course!

I just can't fathom why this course commands such a high price. It's nice, flat, sand was very good. A very nice average course, but unless you get a deal on the greens fees, and 35 is pushing it, spend your money elsewhere. I recommend the course, it was well maintained, just watch what you pay.

Going in, had no idea what to expect. Some bare spots, thin areas and the greens were slow. Now, don't let that scare you off, the layout was a surprise, and with the water on many holes, it made this place a real test. Winding in and out of homes in a gated senior community didn't cause much concern and out in the woods on the back nine made it fun. It needs some help, and the greens were slow, but, I did enjoy it and the staff was great. Compared to some of the surrounding places, this was a surprise find.

It was a pleasure to go out to a place not surrounded by homes. That said, the course was a typical west coast course, flat. Some areas on the fairways were thin. A good deal of wildlife to be seen. However, the staff make it so much more enjoyable, and I really kind of liked the idea of the gun range going along #8 Panther side. An interesting tid bit for your golf course scrap book. Let's face it, there is always something better, but I really liked this place and I will go back again, nice and relaxed, you'll be happy with the choice.

I've been looking for a place here on the gulf coast, Clearwater area that wasn't flat. Most places are pretty much the same, but not Wentworth. Many of the tee shots were tight, the greens were a very nice size with, are you ready, slopes, curves, breaks! The cypress trees gave a beautiful touch to the course and managed to obscure the homes that did boarder the course. With the sun setting, and looking back at #15 from the 16th tee, the sun splashed fairway was magnificent, so much so that my playing partner took a photo of it. This is the place, you will love it. I can't wait to get back and take some more time and stop into the bar for a beer and hamburger!

One thing about the west coast, if your looking for elevation changes, not happening. That said, the course was very nice. When I played, the greens had been semi top dressed, but that did not take anything away from how good they were. The tee boxes were a bit on the sparse side, but other than that I loved the course. This was the Forest course, looking forward to playing the Lakes course. Give it a try, you will not be disappointed.

The round was slow, but that was to be expected given 50+ degrees in January. The course gets a good bit of play, since it is nestled between some high priced courses. Here is the thing that gets me, and I have played this course in the winter before, the greens are wonderful. How do they maintain their speed, pace and overall feel through the cold winter months? I can only imagine them in the spring and summer. I like the place alot, heck, I travel over 50 miles to play it, and the bar and restaurant are just the icing on the cake!
