Played On 11/16/2015Course Shows Signs of Drought & Off-Season Maintenance
Staff were friendly, and a couple small food items purchased were good... but the course was in REALLY poor shape overall. Fairways were brown, and the ball rolled out of bounds on several occasions due to layout of course & very short/dead fairway grass (several yards). Greens were in descent shape (to be fair), but the OB areas (& general grounds) were poorly maintained.
I felt the price to play Salt Creek was not consistent/equal to other courses I've played for the same amount. Online pictures portray a much different course, so hoping it is simply the drought & off-season maintenance.

My wife and I played here for the first time... Both average golfers (at best). Somewhat intimidated at the start, as we were paired with 2scratch golfers.
The course was challenging, beautiful, and we ended up having an excellent round of golf. They keep the pace fairly quick, good mix of water & sand, and some fun approach shots.
Staff was friendly, food & beverage was great, and overall experience excellent. We will definitely play this course again!!

Beautiful course, excellent/friendly staff, and overall great experience. On course beverages (alcohol) were overpriced ($25 for 2 small cocktails), and round was a bit pricey ($100 per person mid-week)... but I'd recommend this course to others!
First time playing in this area, so cost may be the norm for Palm Springs courses... just higher then we're used to for comparible courses in our area.

First time playing this course... staff was friendly, course in good condition, probably not the best course for beginner golfers (tough), but fun for most!
Only negative is they stress no outside food/beverage allowed, however never saw a cart on a busy Friday and they need to do better job marking the course with signs for next hole (not many concrete cart paths, mostly grass green to tee).
Would recommend to friends, and we were told new owners investing $$$ into course, which should make this already nice course even better!
