Welcoming and friendly staff, beautifully maintained course, and definitely plenty of challenge. Don’t miss this one!

We played the Palm course this time - Pines closed for overseeding. Have played both 18's several times before. Holes 11-16 are badly in need of lots of repair - large expanses of grass-less sand and mud, sand traps hard as rock with no sand or standing water, goose poop and geese everywhere : > (. Usually a good golfing experience, but this time very disappointing.

The course was being readied for overseeding, so this evaluation probably isn't a fair one. Large piles of dead grass made it impossible to find balls even in the fairways; perhaps this prep work needed to take place AFTER the course was closed for overseeding, not while still selling tee times. As a non-member player at this private club, our rate was fairly low, but the negatives didn't leave a good impression no matter the cost. We were almost chased around the course by the marshall, and we were not playing slowly, and we were keeping up with the group ahead.

A warm welcome from the staff was followed by 18 holes on a very well maintained course. Pace was perfect, and greens were pristine. Certainly will play here again, and highly recommend this course.
