This place is a goat ranch! It was hard to find any real grass on the fairways or tee boxes. It was all crabgrass or bear spots. We were a foursome and they let three or four twosomes after us and then later complained these groups were getting backed up. Why didn't they pair up those groups? And they had the nerve to charge $38.00! Will not be revisiting this course on any account!

Greens and bunkers in great shape. Some of the best in the area. Fairways looking a little beaten up as were some of the tee boxes which is why I only ranked course condition as average. I'm sure the long winter and recent summer weather didn't help The 27 hole layout is great. Couldn't believe we had the course to ourselves. We were a twosome and did not rush but finished in about 3:20 hrs.

The course condition was very good considering the time of year and all the cold weather we've had. I hooked up with 3 guys on the back nine and they played fast. Affected my play just a little, but still very enjoyable.

Greens were fast, especially after just being aerated. The green on hole 13 was not rolled after aeration and resembled the Ozarks. All other greens were very good. Pace of play was slow and ranger should have told golfers two groups ahead to pick up the pace or skip a hole. Hurry up and wait doesn't bode well for a good round.

I wish the course conditions section had more options as, although I wouldn't rate it pristine, I would rate it very well maintained. The tee box on hole 16, a par 3, is susceptible to flood in a hard rain. Tee box needs building up and better drainage. A set of steps from the cart path wouldn't hurt. This is the only problem I see with this whole course, and I thoroughly enjoy playing here.

The speed of the greens was about a 12. Some of the greens required rolling. Maybe the preceding cold weather hampered maintenance. Should improve as the warmer weather takes hold.
