Riverside Golf Club
Played On 09/14/2017Enjoy this Course
The course has been in great shape the last 2 season. Has a good mixture of challenging holes. I won't mention any names but they have 1 staff member that is quite un-friendly. That is the only criticism
Tour 18 Dallas
Played On 09/12/2017The course is now in good shape
The greens have recovered from earlier problems and are now perfectly playable. The staff was friendly. The practice putting green is under repair and looks like it will take some time for it to be usable. Would recommend it if you get a decent green fee. Personally the highlights are Amen Corner and Sawgrass Island green.
Riverchase Golf Club
Played On 04/11/2017Need to have a system for adding singles on 1st tee
The course was in pretty decent shape for this time of year compared to other courses in the area. I have played there before so there were no surprises with the layout or condition. The GN price was very good so no complaints there. Two main things that I always notice when playing there. One is that the pro shop staff is not all that friendly or helpful. Two is that if you are a single they just randomly send you out to the 1st tee without any regard to putting together groups. The best organized clubs add singles and announce them over a speaker system. Who is on the tee who is up next and a 15 minute call. It makes for a long day for singles on the course amongst 2 somes 3 somes and 4 somes.
Frisco Lakes Golf Club
Played On 10/10/2013Nice Design
Will definitely return to play again when another good deal comes up. Just right amount of challenge. Some strategy and drive placement required. Risk reward on the par 5's. Undulating greens. Play for the pin if you don't want a long putt. The only negatives I had were a backup on Number 1 tee and the fairways are a little tight for my liking. Need a little more cushion under the ball with Bermuda grass.
Lake Park Golf Course - Championship Course
Played On 10/6/2013Great Driving Course and Great Greens
Fun course to play if you like to hit driver off the tee. Except for a couple of par fours the course isn't short if you play off the blue tees. The greens are firm, not soft, so you won't get many to back up or make a big ball mark. The greens are very smooth, consistent, and putt as true as any public course in the Dallas Area. If you're a good putter you should drain some long putts.
Iron Horse Golf Course
Played On 10/4/2013Old school feel. Strategic tee shots required.
A fair and somewhat challenging layout. Not constantly playing between houses like most newer courses. Played fairly short off the whites. The blue tees would have been the better choice. Be prepared to chip from rough around the greens if you miss your approach. Don't need the driver much unless you want to cut the corners off the tee.
The Trails of Frisco Golf Club

Bridlewood Golf Club
Played On 2/29/2013Nice challenging layout. Great fairways.
This course has the nicest fairways I have played on all year. It also has the fastest greens that I have been on this season. Getting a cart and starting groups on number 1 tee could have been organized better.
