Course was a bit rough. If anywhere off the middle of the fairway, was overgrown tumbleweeds and thorny trees. I don’t mind desert, but this was beyond! Lost a few balls in the rough too due to very long grass. I know the course is transitioning to rye grass so that was expected. The water jugs were also empty on the last few holes. That is bad!

This is a really nice course. Great value especially in the summer when rates are cheap. At least 1/3 of the holes have some kind of water hazard so be ready! Yes it winds through a trailer park but it is well maintained and the people are very friendly. The clubhouse has great food and a breakfast buffet on weekends. For the price, it’s one of my favorite west side courses.

Years ago I used to play Great Eagle and it was an OK course. Yesterday I played it and it was a major disappointment! The water hazards had dried up to mud holes and many of the sand traps had been allowed to grass over. The greens had burn spots from over fertilizing and there were 2 bee hives in the middle of the fairways in sprinkler boxes. That isn’t safe....

I will never play there again.
