The Champions Club at Summerfield
Played On 07/20/2022Driest I’ve ever seen this in summer
This place can be very wet this time of year but they’ve been fortunate and it’s more similar to winter conditions. Fairways need some work in some areas, greens a bit slow but generally it’s good value. Hardly anyone there in the afternoon so good time to get a fast round in.
The Florida Club
Played On 01/01/2022Best public in Stuart
Florida Club continues to be the best public course in Stuart. Good layout, good conditions, pace of play was excellent on a Saturday afternoon.
The Club at Emerald Hills
Played On 12/31/2021Enjoyable course with challenging greens
Last played here 7 years ago. They’ve clearly reworked the greens since then as I would have remembered ones that were this difficult to read. Good layout though lots of trouble to be had, make sure you play the right tees or it’ll be a long day. Clubhouse restaurant closing at 3:00 was a bummer. Cart girl was great though and showed up regularly throughout the round. Price is a little high for what it is but it’s Broward County.
The Champions Club at Summerfield
Played On 12/28/2021Muddy when it shouldn’t have been
I’ve played here several times. Good layout, enjoy the place. Greens are always on the slow side. Was disappointed in conditions for this time of year. Hadn’t been any rain in 2 weeks but fairways were very soft, and grass conditions have deteriorated. Should be better than this for peak season.
Hi, David6177631. Thank you for reviewing the course. Let us first start by apologizing for the poor experience you had during your visit. Your feedback about the course is important to us. We are working to get everything up to par. We have projects ongoing to recover the fairways and greens. The current condition is by no means the standard we strive to achieve. We are going to escalate your feedback to our team so we can make improvements before your next game, and we will continue to work towards an excellent experience by using your comment for guidance. Thank you for playing Champions Club at Summerfield. We hope to see you again soon.
The Classic Club
Played On 12/05/2015Beautiful course on a beautiful day
Recommended to me by a guy I played with the day before. The course is a great challenge, imperative to avoid the numerous water hazards, which I didn't do very well. The course was in great shape, pace of play was solid at just over 4 hours. Would definitely play here again!
The Club at Emerald Hills
Played On 12/12/2014Very good course, good deal with GolfNow
Course was in very good shape, only thing keeping it from excellent is that the fairways were a bit on the soft side, making it okay very long with lack of roll. Greens are very challenging and were medium fast. Full price would be high but the twilight rate from GolfNow was solid value. My only complaint was that they sent us (a twosome) off behind two fivesomes; however after 3 holes the ranger moved us up past them and the foursomes ahead of them and we cruised unobstructed from there, then skipped back and played 4-8 at the end so got he full 18 in 3:50. Would definitely play this one again!
Revere Golf Club - Concord Course
Played On 2/3/2013Deteriorating conditions, slow group
The course is in mediocre condition at this time. The greens are becoming a mix of rye, bent, and bermuda. The fairways were only OK.
We had a ridiculously slow group ahead of us. Finally saw a ranger at #11, complained as we'd been 2:40 on the front side. He didn't seem to want to believe us, but then went ahead and asked them to pick up the pace and drove away. Nothing changed, so at #13 we just skipped past them. There were at least 2 holes open ahead of them, even with our speed to get done so we could watch the Super Bowl we still finished 20 minutes after the prior group according to the valets.
At $105 it's an OK price for Vegas, but you wouldn't be happy paying that for these conditions at home.
Wailea Golf Club - Gold Course
Played On 12/18/2012Great conditions, average experience
Ended up playing the Gold course twice on our recent trip. The conditions were superb, greens were smooth and medium-fast. The bunkers are to be avoided, you'll have huge difficulty getting anywhere close to the pin from them. Main complaint is that in both cases they put us with another couple as a foursome but then had all twosomes behind us (we were going out at 11:30 AM). We played at a good pace but of course not as fast as twosomes would so they were waiting as it's not reasonable to expect we're going to let 5 groups play through. Suspect this was due to us being on the GolfNow rate which was a good discount so they weren't that motivated to take care of us.
