Wentworth Golf Club
Played On 01/05/2014AMAZING COURSE AND GREAT PRICE
The first time I played at Wentworth was December 17th on a Saturday and I played there again that Sunday and Monday. In a two week span I played at wentworth 6 times because this course is fantastic. Not to mention the prices are extremely low for the courses great conditions. The tee boxes are perfect, rolling fairways, and very fast and good tempo greens. The only negatives I have about this course is that the driving range is right in the middle of two holes and the course as well as the driving range is very tight and there are practice balls all over the ninth and tenth tee. Besides that this course is amazing...a little tight but I recommend this course to anyone who is a little better golfer due to the tight fairways.
Heritage Harbor
Played On 01/04/2014NICE COURSE WITH GREAT FAIRWAYS
Heritage Harbor is one of my favorites because its where I played my whole childhood. Fairways are prestige looking. it is a open course so you can score well but the greens are way way way to soft. Once you walk on the greens your shoes make marks all in the grass. I love this course and you will too.
The Groves Golf and Country Club
Played On 01/01/2014DONT BRING THE BIG DOG
This course is by far one of my favorite course in the area. it is a short course but pretty challenging as well. There is only 1 par 5 and not many opportunities to swing driver. If you want to work on irons and wedges than go to the groves. If you are A long ball hitter like I am then try something different.
Meadow Oaks Golf & Country Club
Played On 12/27/2013GOOD COURSE BUT BAD STAFF AND INSANE PRICES
Don't get me wrong Meadow Oaks is a fun nice golf course with nice facilities. The bad side is that I do not believe that it is worth $40 a round. And besides the fact the staff is just awful. Not friendly at all and they dont follow their own guidelines. I went golfing with me dad and my sister. My dad was golfing with me and my sister was just going to ride in the cart and not golf. They charged her $14 to just ride. It was a crazy price but to make matters worse the people behind use had a old man and his 20 year old grandson, teenage daughter, and 7 year old grandson and they were all wearing jeans and no collared shirts. This shows how they wont kick them off only because they paid.
Timber Greens Country Club
Played On 12/19/2013GREAT COURSE FOR THE PRICE AND OVERALL GREAT COURSE
Timber Greens for $30 bucks is my favorite course. It is a flat type course that plays a little long even at a par 71. Staff is great course is is PGA tour quality but, there is no chipping range and not really a driving range. This is one of my top 50 favorite courses to play.
