Timber Creek Review

Overall great day. Beautiful scenery nice course layout and we kept moving and not waiting for play. Course was in great shape, fairways well maintained, traps well kept. The greens were hard so keeping you ball on the green could be a challenge but it made it fun. Highly recommend to play

Shoreline June 4 2016

Always a fun course to play. Greens were in great shape and difficult pin placements. Not too windy and warm, perfect ft for a SundY afternoon round.
I was running late so called the pro shop and they got me out as soon as I arrived.

A spectacular and challenging course

What can I say about this course other than I loved every hole. The day was perfect and the weather was short sleeve and sunny so what is not to like about a course that was in great condition and challenging for the best of players.

Being my first time to this course was difficult because every hole was new but fortunately I was able to play with three others that I was paired up with that had local knowledge of the course.

The course itself can be treachorous if you do not hit your drive long and straight. For me the front nine at Bayonet was not too difficult, mostly because my drives where down the middle and playing from the black tees you need to hit it long and straight. The greens where difficult to read but when in doubt the ball will break in the direction of the ocean...even when you are convinced it will do otherwise. The course is lined with trees on both sides so hitting from the black if you are left or right it will be a very long day.

On the back nine I started off with a birdie on 10. It is a par 5 uphill but makeable in two with a good drive and solid approach. But from there I found the trees off the tee more than I wanted and I found out the true difficulty of the course.

I had a great day and would highly recommend Bayonet to every golfer that wants a challenge. Just when you think you are getting better this course can humble you in a few holes.

I can't wait to play Black Hourse and thanks to GolfNow for making a great course affordable to all.
