Everyone was friendly and course was in good condition for this time of year. Grass will be thicker soon as the heat and rain help. We play here most every time on our biannual boys golf trip. Greens were running well and gators were out! (my favorite part) Pace of play was great as we went out very early, but as most courses in HHI, the pace slows after lunch.

Course was in perfect condition for late November. Staff was super friendly, pace was good and day was perfect! Would definitely play here on every trip to to HHI.

We were one of the first groups off on the morning we played, so pace of play was great. Course was in awesome shape as always and the staff is always friendly to us! Our group plays here twice a year and it's never in bad shape, congrats to the course staff.

Played on vacation with some buddies up from Orlando. The Jones Course was in the best shape I had ever seen it in probably my 5th or so times playing! Fairways and greens were in immaculate condition with cart ladies coming by timely and all the staff was great! It was brutally muggy but it was expected to be in August. Pace of play was really good. Had a nice lunch in the restaurant/bar after the round that's always good. If in the area I would definitely recommend this course for a round and not to tough for the weekend golfer. Also saw small gator on first tee box pond.

Course was in good condition, greens were just slightly slow as it's still a little early in the spring. They will get better soon. Course is making improvements that are noticeable to people that play routinely. My group comes down every spring and fall to play and Old South is a staple on our list to play. Prices are fair, staff is great and always feel welcome.

The course had recently over seeded for winter play, but was still in great shape. The staff told us up front so we had no problem with conditions. I love the course layout and is usually one of the best conditioned courses on the island. We will return again on next visit!

Enjoyed the layout, it had been years since I had played and had forgotten how great the course is. Each hole has it's own scenery with several water holes and then several tree lined doglegs too. Course was in fantastic shape and staff was extremely nice. Definitely will be returning soon!

The grill was excellent, highly recommend! The staff and range were awesome, but the course was only average for HHI. A fair layout and course conditions were decent. The resort pace of play was a little frustrating, but understood with it's clientele. There are some many options on the island and Bluffton that I'm not sure I would pay the price to play again.

Course was in pretty good shape for the time of the year. Staff were nice and food is good at the grill. The collars of the greens had been moved in about 6' that made the greens much smaller, not sure why. We always enjoy Old South and will return again!

The day we played the wind was blowing 25-30 mph most of the day. Course was in pretty good shape for April, but the greens were a little rough,. They were perfect in the fall a couple years ago so I think it was just the time of the year. Fun challenging course that I would recommend to others!

Greens are slick and true . Course is in great shape, staff is very nice from pro shop to the bar. Never go wrong here!

Course and greens were in great condition. Cart paths were rough, but the great conditions made up for it. Best greens we played in our 5 rounds.

As usual we enjoyed Old South, it's a little more open than most of the other courses in the area. Provides plenty of birdie opp's normally, but the wind was up on the day we played. Staff is always friendly and the burgers are awesome on the screened porch! Saw plenty of good size gators and even a bald eagle by a tee box. We'll be back!

We hardly saw anyone on the course this trip. It was pretty windy, and the course was in incredible shape! Fairway grass was in and greens rolled perfect! It's a must for every trip down!

We have played here the last two times to HHI. The staff is great and the food is tremendous here. I would come here just to eat and drink! The greens were lightening fast and we loved it. Course is fairly long and tough if you are spraying it around. Super conditions, if you haven't played here then put it on your list.

Was a nice morning at the course, pace of play was great! Course was fairly tight, but fair. We all enjoyed our round and the greens are quick and very true! Will make this an annual stop for sure.

On our last visit about 3 years ago, I do not remember it being this fun. I played really well today and everyone at the course was super nice! Greens were very true and pretty quick; a very nice pace for me. Course is not extremely tough, but you can get all you want with the tees you pick. I would recommend this course on every visit to HHI. You will see many gators by the clubhouse and through out the course, love that!
