The course overall was in rough shape, tee boxes and fairways. Greens are new and are hard as a rock and bumpy. There are no Marshall's to move play along, they just ride around and smile.

The course conditions are getting much better, but the pace of play is unbelievably slow. Waiting time is enough to enable you to peruse your favorite non golf activities, while totally taking you out of any rhythm you may have had. There are no rangers on this course, nor any expectations set for pace of play. If they could ever get the slow pace, which this course is known for, resolved, this course would be a regular stop for everyone. Otherwise, especially on the weekends, avoid this course unless you are ok with waiting on every shot.

If you like playing 5-6 hr rounds, this is the course for you. Unbelievable slow pace, no one cares here except for the green fees.

Played today in am, course was packed! Made the turn in 2 hours and 50 mins. Two of our group left in frustration. We continued as a twosome through the 12th hole then decided to stop as it was just too packed and slow.

There are no Marshall's on the course, not sure it would have helped, there were just so many out on the course. Not a good idea to play this course on the weekend!

This course years ago was in great shape. Today, unfortunately, that is not the case. The best feature is probably the greens, which are still about average to good. The worst features are the bunkers, which are never, ever maintained, the area around the bunkers, and many of the fairways, with potholes and thin to no grass. There are limited to no bunker rakes, no ball washers anywhere, no marshalls, no divot mix on boxes (on cart if filled), and pace of play is always slow. Staff in the pro shop are nice, and the practice range is large but very busy.

I hadn't played here in some time as course conditions had not been great. I was surprised on this recent visit that the greens were pretty darn good, as were the bunkers and tee boxes. The fairways, however, could use some fertilizer and strong weed remover!
Pace of play, teeing off before 8 am, was really good, finished in less than 3.5 hrs, with the group behind us asking us to speed up!

Course conditions are generally poor especially the tee boxes and bunkers. Fairways and greens are just ok at best. This is an otherwise nice layout but suffers from lack of routine maintenance and upkeep (this used to be a real gem). To make matters worse, there are no rangers anywhere. Pace of play on the weekends is horrendous, and its not uncommon to see fivesomes or more. Without rangers here, golf etiquette and courtesy, and accountability for pace just does not exist, very bizarre.

Overall, the course conditions were poor, especially the tee boxes. The course needs more maintenance for sure. Pace of play is slow, we waited on every shot and almost left at the turn out of frustration.
The practice range is decent. The staff are very friendly and helpful.

Almost 3 hours to play 9 holes with no one moving slow players along. They pack this course so just be prepared if you.play here for long waits and frustration. Course conditions ok, greens are a bit bumpy.

It's unfortunate, for whatever reason, that a Donald Ross design course would be in such very poor condition. The tee boxes, fairways, and especially the greens, were all in need of maintenance and care. I'm sure this course was a gem at some point but those days are obviously over. This is not a course that I could recommend at this time

Played 18 today and we finished just short of 5 hours, no rangers moving the pace of play. Greens are in very poor condition and wish we were told beforehand. Was disappointed as this is a nice track but I can not recommend play now until conditions improve.

This is a nice course but pace of play especially this time of year is very slow, course is packed. Tee off by 12:30 to finish 18. There are no rangers to encourage groups ahead to keep up pace, gets pretty frustrating. Clubhouse staff are super friendly.

Course was packed. Teed off 30 minutes after scheduled tee time. Played the front 9 twice so we could finish before dark. This was a Saturday so recommend getting an earlier tee time for weekend play especially this time of year.

Just made the turn in 2 hours and 57 mins. Expected to finish around 4:30 at this rate will be 6 pm. Will have to
cut the round short in order to get to dinner. Not cool man. No rangers on the course. Course conditions not great either to put up with this pace.

It's a nice layout but it was a bit slow waiting on each hole especially on the back nine. Rangers were present on front but not the back so slowed down. High season rates should keep pace of play steady for the higher fees.

This is a nice track but the tee boxes are just horrible and the bunkers are not well maintained. The driving range condition is the same, it's like hitting out of sand. All the staff here are super friendly and helpful and they have the best burger around.

Nice course it's just always slow. We called for player assistance on 11 and the player assistant gave us grief for calling for assistance! Was backed up 2 groups on tee. Was perturbed that he had to drive out to furthest point on course to hear us ask for help to speed things up, how did we know?! His advice, "you want to play faster don't play here in the afternoon". Nice. We quit on 15 tee. Annoying loud ads on gps that you can't turn off, come on, this is a golf course!! Finally, $7.25 for a beer on the course, great incentive to bring your own.

Pace of play here is consistently slow, weekend rounds always 5 hr +. Called for ranger help twice today but no one comes. From the 3rd hole on 2 groups on the tee. Waiting every shot. Nice layout but not worth the aggravation, plenty of other courses to choose in this area.

We continue to book here because the course layouts are nice. The International is more challenging than the National. What's even more challenging is the pace of play, or rather the lack of rangers to move slow groups along. Such was the case today. We skipped the 10th hole so we could jump ahead of the snail pace group ahead of us and the course was wide open. We had called the pro shop from the course as we usually do when its unreasonably slow and we got the same result we normally do, no rangers ever come by to acknowledge our call or to move the slow group along. So come here to play but be prepared for slow pace and disrespectful response when asking for ranger help.

Have played this course many times because it is a very nice track. However, they have a tendency to overbook this course as they did on this Saturday. It took us over 5 hrs to play. In spite of being told there were rangers on the course, we never saw one. The last time we played here we vowed to never come back because of slow play. We gave it another chance unfortunately with same slow play.
