The staff, including Marcie and Alberta, is helpful, friendly, and professional.

The weather was perfect, more like a fall day in August.

Conditions from tee to green are excellent, with the greens rolling true and fast.

I highly recommend Jamestown Park for scenery, challenge, conditions, great staff, and value.

Oak Hollow delivered another outstanding golf experience.

The staff is helpful, friendly, and professional.

Tees and fairways are in good condition. The greens are a little beat up and need time to grow grass back in.

My playing partners were nice.

Pace of play was average, 4 1/2 hours for 18 holes with riding cart.

Oak Hollow offers value (had a $20 online coupon from Golf Now), challenge, beauty, great staff, and good playing conditions.

Pagosa Springs Golf Club delivered an outstanding golf experience.

It was my first time playing this wonderful layout. I was joined up with a grandfather/grandson twosome, very nice people.

Value was great, considering a Taylor Made club rental and my wife riding as a non-golfer.

The staff is excellent. Jim, Tom, Graham and Charles are terrific. Rene and John in the grill were wonderful.

The conditions were immaculate from tee to green. Putting surfaces are outstanding.

Pagosa Springs provides challenge, value, great staff, fabulous playing conditions, and challenge.

I highly recommend Pagosa Springs Golf Club for travelers and locals as a top course to play.

I walked onto Thistle Dhu for the first time last Sunday with 3 friends after attending the final round of the 2022 U.S. Women's Open.

Designed after the Himalayan putting course in St. Andrews, Scotland (which I was on in 1975), this features 18 holes in front of Pinehurst Country Club.

Great for a little competition with friends.

I highly recommend Thistle Dhu to "round" off your Pinehurst experience!

I played the Cradle Par 3 short course at Pinehurst Country Club for the first time last week.

Walked on and was joined by a nice threesome.

The starter Curt is helpful, friendly, and professional. He exchanged my bag for a Sunday bag. I brought a few clubs.

The longest hole is 110 yards. You tee from mats. The rest of the Cradle is manicured turf just like the others at Pinehurst Country Club.

This is the most fun you'll ever have on a par 3 course! Greens are fast and undulating . Bunkers are deep. I hit 9 iron successfully out of 2.

There is a bar at the 9th hole (yes, I had a beer) and piped in music to create a fun party atmosphere.

On the 9th green, people sit in Adirondack chairs, booing bad shots, cheering good ones.

I hit a 5 wood to 15 feet on the fringe. I asked one of the "gallery" how the putt broke. Took their advice and sank the putt for birdie. They cheered!

Great course for $50 that I would play every time in Pinehurst!

For all levels, beginners, and families!

The Preserve at Jordan Lake provides great value, good conditions, excellent staff, and a pleasant playing experience.

I went out by myself.

The staff is helpful, friendly, and professional.

Pace of play was great, playing 18 holes in 4 hours.

Conditions were wet due to recent rain. Tees need a little bit more grass to grow in. Fairways are better but also could use more turf.

Greens were excellent, rolling true and smooth. Very nice surfaces.

Attention to detail items:

1) Carts- were dirty, definitely not washed. Also, being gas carts, they did not have much pep, struggling to get up hills.

2) Chairs- Chairs by putting green definitely need a paint touch up.

3) Tees- Stone markers could use a touch up to be cleaner. Tee markers need some paint.

Bathrooms on the course and in clubhouse are very clean.

Pro shop is well-stocked and clean.

I would recommend The Preserve at Jordan Lake to everyone.

With the prior recommendations, I am sure the facility will go back to a top notch location for golfers. I appreciate that it is still early in the season.

Pace of play was excellent- 4 hours.

Condition was good, wet in spots from recent rain. Greens are in excellent shape, rolling quicker and true.

Course is in excellent from tee to green. Putting surfaces were consistent, fast, and smooth, allowing me to sink putts from 5 to 10 feet.

Jamestown Park is a favorite for me. Put this course on your top list of municipal tracks in the area.

Oak Hollow is a top public course. Plus it is the ONLY Pete Dye municipal layout (who went on to design Harbour Town, a PGA Tour stop, and many more) in North Carolina.

It was my first time playing the River Course at the Sevierville Golf Club.

The staff was outstanding, helpful, friendly, and professional.

Thank you to Les and John in the pro shop, Bill and Carl in the cart barn (also as starters), the cart woman (didn't know her name), and everyone at Mulligan's.

My playing partner Dennis had played the River Course before. He mentioned ways to navigate each hole. It would have been challenging to know where the next tee was. Thank you, Dennis!/

My wife rode as a non-golfer for $15 . It was worth the experience. By the way, we were celebrating my birthday and our anniversary on the same day (yes, we went out afterwards to eat).

Saw a bald eagle on the 7th hole. Did not capture good images but will next time! Apparently, bald eagles nest on both courses.

Course conditions were immaculate from tee to green.

Putting surfaces were fast, taking me 9 holes to adjust successfully by the back nine.

Scenery on every hole was amazing, with views of the Little Pigeon River and Smoky Mountains serving as backdrops. As an avid photographer, this was one of the best courses for beauty in my opinion!

The entire golf experience at the RIver Course is 5 stars. Next time I'll play the HIghlands Course too. Ran out of time before returning home.

Put Sevierville Golf Club on your bucket list. I highly recommend this course!

Gillespie Park is a top municipal course in Greensboro.

The staff is always helpful, friendly, and professional.

Value for walking 18 holes at the senior rate of $10 is outstanding.

Condition from tee to green is good. Greens roll true at medium speed. Kudos to the maintenance crew, who continue to make improvements to the course.

I played by myself in less than 4 hours, a great pace.
