My brother in law and I needed a place to play on Sunday while the wives went shopping. Cost and location were crucial. Oaks National filled the bill. The cartman brought the cart right to the car and gave us the lowdown on the new owners and conditions. He was very friendly. (even joined us on back 9 - great guy!) - The greens are a work in progress and they are definetly coming along - in another month they will be excellent. The course was challenging - the back need more precision that the front....all in all a good round in less then 3:30 - will play here again and look forward to the improvements they are making - dont miss the Eagles which are floating around - the female landed on the bank of one of the water hazards - beautiful

My Brother in Law and I were looking for some Black Friday fun while our wives went shopping. Found Indigo on Golf Now - read the reviews and thought hmm been there heard that. We could not have been more pleasantly surprised that it lived up to the reviews. From the friendly greeting upon arrival, the staff made us feel welcome. The starter told us we did not have to wait and could tee it up if we were ready to go. The 2 foursomes in front of us kept up such a good pace we never had to wait and played 18 holes in slightly less than 3:30 - the course was in great shape, the greens were firm, fast and undulating. Fairways immaculate. Hazards are there but if you make good shots they do not detract. Bald Eagles circling over the 12th hole made for a fantastic sight. All in all this course lived up to the hype and is well worth the $$ and time to get there. Thanks Indigo for a great day of golf

While we were only able to get 9 holes in before the skies opened up it was by far the best golf course I have played here in Florida. Tough, challenging but rewarding - if you can play here do so

My brother in law asked me to find a course near him in Davenport - wow - are we glad we played here. We arrived and they actually pulled the clubs for us and placed on the cart. Then they sent us off to the first tee - no waiting. We met up with the 2 gents they paired us with and we were off. The course was immaculate, the conditions were great. Greens were fast and firm. We enjoyed this round of golf so much we already booked a return trip

My snowbird brother in law is now down for the winter - I wanted to take him somewhere he had never played, that would be fun and challenging as well as a good time. Our tee time was for 8AM and we arrived early - the morning sun was warm and there was deer visible off the fairways. The pro shop was friendly and invited us to go right out. We saw other golfers in the distance, but never got close enough to slow down. The course was in great shape, the greens were very fast compared to what we have seen around the area. There is one hole which is very difficult, especially if you dont hit the ball very far. Watch out for hole 16. All in all we had a great time and will definetly play here again

I got the call from my buddy late in the afternoon - was I interested in 18 holes at 5PM on a Friday at the LPGA Jones course. I debated as it is a 45 minute drive but in the end decided to tee it up. Am I glad I did. This gold course is truly an experience. This is a bucket list/top 100 course. I have been playing quite a bit and steadily improving so much so that I have been breaking 85 regularly. Well I got a awakening here. After parring 3 out of the first 4 holes the difficulty ramped up. I ended up shooting 92 and loved every minute of it. We teed off at 5PM and finished 18 holes by 8PM - The staff was awesome, the course was beautiful and the golf was superb. I heartily recommend this course as a must play

The staff was friendly and I was early for y tee tie but was told I could go out as soon as I was ready. There are no issues with the layout it is well suited to the environment The fairways are a little rough with weeds or tall patches here and there. The greens were spotty with dead patches yet still rolled true - with a little work this could once again be a course to be proud of. I will play here again, most likely later in the fall to see if most of my complaints are hot weather related or if the course really is a little run down

I know, I know, read the reviews before you book - but I listened to another player who said it was getting better. That is very scary because if this is better I would hate to see what it was. Large patches of overgrown weeds in fairways, the rough was shorter in some cases than the fairways so much so that it was hard to tell where a fairway began and where the rough ended. On the plus side, the greeter was friendly. Minus side the counter person was surly and acted as though I was disturbing him. The 3 guys I was paired with were the saving grace - they were fun and I enjoyed playing with them - the course, not so much

I have played the sister course several times - was told that this course was the "harder" if the 2. When I arrived about 30 minutes prior to tee time there was only 2 older gentleman preparing to play. I walked into the Clubhouse and the fun began. The counter person was friendly and advised me that this was the "easier" of the 2 courses....hmmm Very friendly staff, he pointed me the way to the tee box and told me I could go when ready (no waiting) - I then played an unfamiliar course (love my GOLF BUDDY) and shot a very good score - the only complaint I have is that some fairways had overgrown spots and some greens were slightly parched, but other than that it was a good time and a definite come back and play again course - next time I will book both courses and indeed play 2 - note tons of local wildlife abound as well as water fowl on most holes

I had a 730 am tee time - arrived early and was told no one was in front and I could go right away - perfect! The starter gave excellent directions to the first tee (its a fair distance from the clubhouse) offered some tips (do not go over most greens as hazards abound) detailed pin placements and wished me a good round - very nice. I teed off at 715 and proceeded to play alone for 3 holes where I caught up to 2 gentlemen who had me go on ahead (excellent courtesy). After that I enjoyed a stress free 9 holes - shooting just 4 over (I am a 14 handicap) which was fantastic - the back 9 did not go as well as I ran into trouble on several holes - however I posted a 12 over round which is my personal best. The course is a good layout with plenty to challenge even the best golfer - the fairways appear to have some weeds, but not near as bad as other review made them out to be - the greens putted well and true with only a bare spot here and there (obviously they have been worked on recently) - all in all I enjoyed my round and will definitely return with friends - well worth the Golf Now price and even with the 1 hour drive a great value

I played Venetian a few weeks back as a single and got paired up with some folks - it was good time but not knowing the in & outs of the course made that round difficult - this time it was even better - coincidentally got paired up with a gentleman I had played with elsewhere and another gentleman who appeared to be a low handicapper - this round while slightly slow was thoroughly enjoyable - with the better knowledge of the course I was able to play much better and the company of the other 2 guys was greatly appreciated - I have found the staff and even people on the course to be very friendly and helpful - shot the best round of my life and will definitely be back as well as recommend this wonderful track new New Smyrna

My wife was working a job Friday in Daytona Beach and I decided to play some golf - needed a course at a a good price near where she was working - Daytona Beach North came up on a course search - price was good - staff was friendly - got paired up with a single and a couple who played here before - good thing as the local knowledge was helpful - the greens look to have been aerated within the last week or so and as such were a little bumpy but playable - should be good once they come completely back - some bare spots - fairways a little lush but still playable - rough not to heavy - all in all good value for the money

Looking for someplace different - got a tee time for 11:52 AM - arrived about 30 minutes early - the pro shop greeting was awesome - hooked me right up - told me if I wanted to play as single I could go right out or I could meet up with 2 others with my same tee time who were down on the range - meanwhile another single arrived and we decided we would pair up - great guy - his second time here - the layout is a little odd - not sure if its due to housing was here first or the terrain - tee boxes worn out and brown - fairways were dry and firm - some greens also worn out but they rolled fairly true - it was worth what I paid and I would go back again for the price, but would not make a special trip just to play here - wildlife abounds - plenty of fowl and the starter was friendly

I received a tee time of 7AM - forgot the time change so it was still dark when I arrived - - the starter/counter person met me at the car and took my clubs off to the clubhouse while I got my spikes on - wow, color me impressed - was told I would be first out and could proceed as soon as it was light enough to hit. Spent the time talking to a couple of older gents who are regulars - they gave me some pointers on what to watch out for on the course - finally around 7:25 it was light enough and off I went - first couple of holes passed quickly - this course is very challenging and has water on 17 holes also includes and Island Green or 2 - this was a quick round - being the first out I had noone in front of me and since I get to the ball, line up and hit I played 18 in a little under 2.5 hours - shot a respectable 90 on a course I had never seen - I made a few mistakes in shot selection but this was an enjoyable experience - I will be back and this is definitely worth to 30 minute drive - I recommend this course.......go Play is right!

Golf Now Tee Time was spot on - arrived 30 minutes prior to Tee time and found myself paired up with an awsome partner - Chuck says he has only been playing for about 8 months - takes lessons and it shows - excelloent ball striker - as we waited at the 1st tee - Mark the starter came up with another 2some to play along - Steven and Han- very nice guys as well - this led to a relaxing round - 18 holes and never waited - pace of play was excellent - I would guess we all were in the same handicap range 12-16 - we played well as a group and since I was the resident course expert they asked for shot advice along the way - all in all it was yet another Great Round at the Deltona Club

We arrived 20 minutes early for a 12:52 tee time - walked up to the counter where I was greeted by the happiest woman on earth (she is a joy) - had our tee sheet ready and invited us to tee of as soon as we were ready (no waiting for actual tee time) w could see several golfers on various holes and the twosome in front of us we already on the green - Tee'd it up and let it fly!! since this was the second time out on this course for me I knew where and when to go for it and whwn to play it safe - we only slowed down once and that was on the 10th tee - after that clear sailing again - the turtle moseying down the fairway on 12 made a great picture to send to all the cold folks back in Illinois - I just love this course and am so glad that I have made this area home and this course my "home" course - you cannot go wrong playing here.....one word of caution, the greens are wicked with elevation changes and have a unique charm - remind me a lot of Dudsdread in Illinois - great course great people

My brother in law and I played this course for the first time - we did get teamed up with another golfer - he knew the intricacies of the course and helped our round out a great deal - my Golf Buddy found the course and also helped - the elveation changes make this a challenging layout - great time - will be back again

Looking for a new challenge I decided to give the twilight round at Victoria a go - the greeting from the bag drop area made me feel wanted and appreciated (good job) - inside the pro shop was well stocked and I purchased a 2 pk gloves - paid for my round and was told I could proceed straight to the tee - being the first really nice day in a few weeks, I expected back up - joined the 2 young men and one of their fathers on the 3rd hole - new friends - fun group - on the back 9 I was alone for holes 10-13 then ran into a 4-some who were stuck behind a couple of 2 somes - invited me to join them so as to keep moving along - another fun group and some new friends - the course was maintained well and challenging - I liked playing here so much that I raved to my Brother in Law and we are going to play it before he heads back north for the summer - recommend this course
