very good condition

Always enjoy playing Fleming. Long par 3's with well placed bunkers. Two very challenging par 4's including the first hole. Great bargan for a weekend.

great greens.

Vintners is a good course for beginning golfers or someone just wanting to work on their game. It also is a confidence booster. The greens I believe are bentgrass and they keep them in very good shape. I was a little disappointed in the fairways though. Way too many "daiseys" out there. White balls can disappear.
Overall a nice walk in the park. I was a little disappointed in the guy in the proshop who would not let us go a little early even though the tee was empty for quite a while.

The course is a good layout, but requires attention

I have played Peacock for many years. The greens are the issue. They sanded them a while ago and there is still quite a bit of sand on them. We played automatic 2 putt once on the"green". Hopefully they will fix this problem soon.

great value for the Monterey area.

Teed off at a little after 7am. Lots of fog and just getting light. I love it! The back nine is just so cool. This is a must play if you are in the area. Greens in good shape and putted very true. Fairways can be a little rough but the views will take you away from some of the conditions. Just remember you can play PG over 10 times for once at Pebble.

good value on golf now

Fun golf course. Course allows you to work the ball to fit the fairways. Greens are very challenging. Fairly wide for driving but it gets tougher around the 100 yard mark. Hit the green in the right spot or you are 3 putting.

Good layout

I hadn't played Franklin for a few years but always liked the layout. Greens had been half sanded which is actually good. If you hit the right side of the green where the flag is you were rewarded.
The bunkers need some attention. Very hard and just dirt, no sand. Overall the course was in pretty good shape considering late summer when a lot of golf courses in the bay area curtail some of the watering.

great walking course

Play this course occasionally when I want to drive an hour. Paradise is usually in very good condition even when it has been raining. Pretty good drainage. We played the blue tees this time. It's a different animal than the white tees.
