Course has been in great shape both times altho no Pro Shop on first visit. Only down is the trek to No 1 from Pro Shop, need Dr Livingstone to suss out a shorter route!!!
Very friendly staff and we will be back!!!

Whilst the amenities were fine the greens were deplorable - little grass mostly sand.
Now we know why the cheap round!!!

Interesting and friendly experience. The staff and members we passed by were all very welcoming. Course was in excellent condition and some holes were challenging.
Well worth the 90 minute drive from Norfolk and we will be back.
Honey Bee Golf Club

The course was in good condition except bunkers were very hard on some holes. Bunkers need work to give them a depth of sand.
A good course for the average golfer.
The Pines Golf Course at Fort Eustis - Virginia Pines/Ponderosa Pines

Course is in very good condition.
We were held up by a poorly organized tournament taking our tee time but we were allowed off the second nine so were not too delayed.
Course must honor booked tee times - should have made extra tournament players wait for free tee time.

The pace of play was appalling and there seemed to be no effort to speed things up. The twosome in front do us waited until the group ahead were on the green before teeing off.
Condition of the bunkers were such that no decent shot could be played from them.
Greens needed mowing.
We have been working diligently to repair past damage on our greens. We continue to see day-to-day improvements and hope you'll give us a second chance in the future. Thank you for your feedback, we'll continue to work to fix this.
