Greens are fast and in great shape. Fairways are thin and hard pan lies in most places. Sand traps are mud pits. Fix those two things and this course will be back. It’s gotten a lot better but charging high green feed for the conditions aren’t going to get more people back out there. Definitely on the right track to 20 years ago.

Played the Saddlebrook course which is easier than Palmer course. Still challenging , fabulous resort environment and was in great condition. Plus, got a great last minute deal! . I would play there again and recommend it to anyone. Bring your one's for tipping for full service provided...from valet parking to cleaning your clubs you'll need it!

Course was in good shape. Greens very slow but healthy. Worth it for the price. I would come back more if greens were faster.

Haven't played here since the 90's but the value enticed me to take the 50 min. drive from my usual places to play. I remember the greens to be fast and this to be an elite and challenging course. The only thing the same is the green are still true and fast. Unfortunately, the conditions are not the same. Thin lies on fairways, old fashion yard markers and sprinkler ones that are broken or gone. This course has a great layout, very challenging but needs money put back into it. It has potential to be great with huge practice facilities but I am going to stick to my usuals with a shorter drive until the quality is brought back up.
