North Shore Golf Course
Played On 10/29/2017Overbooking
Played twice on a Sunday morning early tee time as group of three golfers and both times we were behind the weekly men’s group lined up on the first tee. Many folks walk course which is nice but slows pace play even more. Both times we played we asked if we could start on the back nine which helped speed up play. Second time we played as a group made tee time on Golfnow for three players and one player had emergency that morning and could not play. No big deal except you get charged for the round unless you call Golfnow hours before to change the number of players. Problem is for early tee times no one is available to change and you get stuck with the bill. GolfNow explains they have no control and this is policy of course and they bill you credit card! You can’t call them to change number if no one is on the phones!? Do recommend be careful when making tee times for more than one player or you will be paying for phantom rounds or donating money to the club. Bad policy with poor excuses from Golfnow especially when you show up to play, get delayed from course over booking in the morning and then get charged for someone who doesn’t show that is out of your control and happens to anyone who plays this game. Golf is frustrating enough.
Monarch Golf Club at Royal Highlands
Played On 01/15/2017Overall nice layout. Course is short but still challenging requiring use of all clubs in the bag.
Providence Golf Club
Played On 05/01/2016A Day In Providence
Has excellent mix of challenging holes requiring thought for club selection. Greens are large but proper ball position and distance control will give you plenty of birdie ops.

Open course without homes. Greens in good shape and bunkers with real sand. Beachy.
