The staff was great, helping get us out earlier than planned. We arrived early, asking to get out much sooner and the starter was great, getting us out on the course immediately. The course was in very good condition, as it just opened two days ago. With next to no cement cart paths, it was great not having that cart path restriction.
The typical public course where customers don’t know why there is a rake in a bunker, but overall, a good time. We ate in the restaurant afterwards and the food was good, priced fairly.
I will return again

Played the front nine, no wind, good conditions. Then you cross the street and the back nine is like playing golf in a hurricane. And there is really only ONE hole where the wind is in your favor. I was delighted with the front, then very dissapointed with the back. Even the course conditions were worse on the back nine, probably due to the never ending trade winds

I first played this course on November 7th, and thought, what a great layout! The course had recently completed overseeing, and was extremely wet, and muddy. But the layout is very intriguing, and the staff were so very nice. Two weeks later, I decide to try it again, thinking it’s got to be better now. To my amazement, it was just as soaking wet as before. The bunkers are mud pits, completely unplayable. I am totally confused. How do you have wonderful staff, a great layout, yet a course in absurdly awful conditions? I asked friends, who all told me the same thing....I experienced Kokopelli as it normally plays....horrific conditions. But I want it to be better, it has so much potential. With great staff in the pro shop, friendly in food services, and a starter who made me feel welcome, I’m simply confused over the disconnect.

I have been playing golf all over the Phoenix area, and the conditions at Legacy are excellent, compared to most other courses. The greens are fast and true, but more impressive is that the fairways have good coverage, with next to no bare spots. Bunkers were even in good shape. Nice practice facility, I have nothing but good things to say about Legacy.

We were very disappointed in the poor quality of the course. When asked of the staff, they excused it to its recent opening after punching the greens and fairways. Why not disclose that when reservations are made? One hole would be soaked, with constant need to place the ball somewhere a bit drier. Then the next hole would be a patchwork of recently laid sod. We played with a member who expressed the same dismay. He said the other course (same price) was far superior in its condition .
The pro shop was nice, the practice area was fine, but overall, I would not recommend this course at this time.

The course had a few bare spots, but no big deal. Otherwise, it was in nice condition. Not only was the golfnow price amazing, the cart guy gave us coupons for discounts on our beers after the round. The staff were super and the conditions for late August were excellent.

Every part of the experience was top notch. The course was well maintained and kept up. Pace of play was under four hours. Tee to green was in beautiful shape. Even lunch in the grille was excellent. Can't say enough nice things about Legacy, the course, the staff....thank you

Okay, it was a little predictable, and there weren't many memorable holes, but it's an EGO golf course. I felt so good about my game after the round because the course doesn't have much trouble on it. It's fair, it's relatively easy, and the price is awesome. For the price it's got decent practice area and everyone working there was nice. The cart girl (lady) was a delight to talk to and enjoy.
