Starting this year the course is adding $12 to all green fees, which was an unpleasant surprise. I will avoid the Sun City courses if this continues.

The course is only 9 holes, but well designed with par 3, par 4 and even one par 5. In good winter conditions and friendly staff to welcome you.

I arrived early and the starter allowed me to tee off early. The pace of play was great and the guy who joined me for the round was just the kind of guy to make it all enjoyable. I will be back! The cart paths need some maintenance, but the course was in very good condition and good value for the green fee.

They recently top-dressed the bunkers and the extra sand is a wonderful improvement. Other courses could learn from this well-placed expenditure. What a joy to have some soft sand in Sun City!

You may pay a little more for this course, but it is worth it. We joined a shot gun, so excellent starting time. We were greeted by a friendly woman setting up the carts who sincerely helped us find a cart, pro shop and so on. The course is well maintained in a beautiful setting.

We are just starting February and the prices are getting too high for me. $8.50 for a bucket of balls after paying $50 plus for green fees and $40 for rentals which were circa 2010 and missing the 5 iron. I found the course in poor condition and pace of play crazy slow with 3 groups on the par 3s. I will not return. Management is obviously trying to maximize profits but will soon wonder where all their former clients have gone.

Surprised by the very short course, we finished in under 2 hours. It is great for older folks I suppose.

Cart paths and tee boxes have been repaired where necessary, so I was impressed with the feel of the course and it’s surroundings. The next step would be to add some soft sand in the bunkers.

The par 3’s really need some softer sand to make the course playable and respectable.
