Saw this course on GolfNow and decided to give it a try. Glad we did. Very friendly staff at all points of contact. Great layout, some longer holes and some shorter par 4s with small greens, very scenic course. Right near Tangerine outlets if you have non-golfers in your group. We’ll be back.

I have been playing this course on our annual trip to HHI for 5 years. I like the layout and staff is always great. This year we played right after Ian had blown through and it seemed like the course could use some TLC. Bunkers need some work but greens were in good shape. Can usually find some good prices on GolfNow. I’ll be back.

Course is in excellent condition, challenging holes, great layout. Course was busy but pace was good, about 4:20 for the round.

Played 5/23. Course in excellent condition. Great views and elevation changes. Easy to book through GolfNow. Overall a great experience.

Booked through Golf Now and got a reasonable price for mid daytime Staff was great and a good challenging layout but not too scary for high handicappers. Only negative was when we finished it was near dark and clubhouse was closed up. Not a big deal but would’ve been nice to know.

Was looking for a place to get out and play nine with another couple after work. Perfect spot. Course in excellent shape. Walked nine in under 2 hours. Think I’ll start playing it more often

Played the course twice this week as a single. Paired with a member once and three members the second time. As a pair played in just over three hours and as a foursome ( course was busier as there was a members event on the course ) was under 4. Course was in great shape especially the greens,
Some earlier comments about 'gimmicky holes", I don't understand. Two holes have a creek that cross it, if you live on the edge, go for it, if you if you don't, lay up. I went for it and was successful 75%.
Staff was very friendly and helpful and genuinely seemed to enjoy helping guests. The members I played with were also friendly and helpful.
For the money and the challenge, i'll be back next year for my annual visit to the area

Played here 8/31 after reading all the bad reviews on course conditions but had heard some good things about the course. Played and Mission and Presdio and course was in good shape. Greens had been punched on Mission a couple days before and were still a little bumpy but should be fine now. Presdio was in great shape overall, a couple spots GUR but nothing significant compared to the other reviews. Challenging course over all, some great par 5s and water comes in to play on a few holes . Wish I had time to play it twice. Course is real close to downtown hotels, a $20 Uber.. Will play it again when in the San Diego area

In San Diego on business / vacation and talked to a bunch of people about where to play and this one came up more than a few times as being a little gem close to the city. Thought I would give it a try through GolfNow. Pro shop guys were great, got me turned around in a couple minutes. Have a range off mats using a hodge pudge of balls but better than nothing. Started as a single but quickly caught a threesome and played with them until the turn. They were locals and seemed to know better. they stopped after 9
Played the front in 1:40 and back was 2:20. Long wait on every hole including a par 3 where there was a group hitting and 2 groups waiting. Never saw a Marshall or a beverage cart all day.
Greens were in great shape but rest of course could use some TLC. Nice layout, good value for the rate paid and probably would give it another try when back in the area.

Had an opportunity to play the front nine twice on a promotion through GolfNow. Incredible heat wave in the area but course was in excellent condition. One of the best all round golf outings I have had. Driving range, practice facility, pro shop and course and finally restaurant were all top notch. Staff was excellent and ice cold towels handed out were a nice touch on a 115 degree day.. Course has some bite to it if playing from wrong tees but have a interesting hybrid on the score card a mix of white and blue tees which suit my game perfect

Just returned from a week at the attached Bahia Principe Akumal. Played three times in the week. Course was very busy twice and not busy at all third time. Very hot in afternoon. Course is in excellent shape and one of my all time favorites. Also played it three times 5 years ago. Some very interesting holes and the potential for lots of trouble ( bunkers, water, cenotes and jungle ) if you don't keep it straight. Bunkers were in good shape other than where previous players hadn't raked. Great clubhouse with Taylor Made rentals, restaurant, bar and showers. Excellent practice facility with full length driving range, bunkers and chipping area as well as putting. GPS carts and starter very helpful. Rates are posted on their website and change with the season but certainly worth checking out if in that area of Mexico.
