I live here and agree that the last few years, the curse and clubhouse left a lot to be desired. This summer, the green were all reworked and are the BEST they have ever been. New sprinkler heads were installed to ensure proper watering the fairways are growing in NICE!! The clubhouse and pro shop have just been renovated and the course has new carts. JC Golf took over a year ago and with Welks have spent several hundred thousand dollars for needed update and repair. The course is in GREAT shape and has always been a great track with stunning views, especially on the back nine. Nov special of $39 a round, $49 in December and $69 Jan-March makes Cathedral Canyon Country Club the best value and golf experience for the price in the entire valley. Try the NEW CCCC again and YOU will be BACK!!

I have golfed many public courses throughout the Palm Springs area and play about three times per week. Today, I ventured way out to Indio to try Terra Lago golf club. I had high hopes as I have heard good things and was anxious to give it a try. We arrived early and we were greeted by a very unfriendly staff at check in. The omen for the rest of the day! The course is poorly marked for a first time player and signage needs much work as it was a confusing layout at best. The driving range was located behind hole ten and you have to deal with a steady stream of carts along the path on hole ten. We had a threesome and played behind the slowest foursome I have ever encountered. I waited 5 minutes on almost every shot. There was NOBODY in front of them This is not the courses problem, but if they actually had a working marshal it would have been corrected quickly. I NEVER saw a marshal. The beverage cart service arrived at hole 12, finally! We walked off on hole 15 and went home as we were on pace for a 5,5 hour round. Horrible experience and ONE and DONE. Actually 3/4s and DONE!!! There are MANY nicer courses, better managed and welcoming in the valley. Tee time bookers BE WARNED!!!

I play about 75-85 rounds a year in the Palm Springs area.. This course is the BEST managed and maintained that I play. The staff is top notch, amazing scenery and the course is flat out AWESOME. Cant wait to come back EVERY TIME!!!

It was our first time here and was I jacked about playing it. First, the good. Fairways were great. That concludes the good. Now the bad. Sand traps were like concrete. Horrible!! Greens were slow and bumpy. Signage was missing on multiple tee boxes making it hard to understand where you were at. Staff was unwelcoming. And finally we had to play through sprinklers on the green at 815am. REALLY?? I expected more from Mission Hills and for the money. Play here if you want but temper your expectations!!!!

We always played the Palms course but it was full a few months back so we tried Valley. What a great surprise!! Challenging yet very fair. Greens were a bit slow but a great time and value!!
