No water stations on course, only hot drinking fountains.

No ice chests on cart to keep my own bottled water cold (95% of courses I play have ice chests).

Woman in restaurant/bar told me it would be $3 for a bucket of ice if I didn't buy anything from the bar.

Seems pretty harsh in AZ to take that stance on giving customers ice.

I've been a Mesa resident (mostly in Dobson Ranch area) for 30 years. This is the closest course to my house and I rarely play it because of details like this.

112 degrees....No water

Course was in average condition is say. Starter staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. Got out into the course, brought 3 bottle of water and a cooling towel to stay cool in the heat. Nice cheats on carts to keep drinks or towels cold. Plus the water stations were all EMPTY until the 15th hole. Rely on them heavily in the summer in AZ to keep water bottles full and the cooling towels wet with cold water. Call clubhouse after the 4th set of empty ones on the 12th hole and staff didn't seem too concerned. Probably won't play here again.
