Course is short already at 5700y... but they are repairing some tee boxes making the course even shorter, and easier to score on.

Greens are in great shape. Fairways are in good shape too (little bit wet). Lost a couple balls that landed in the rough due to the wetness/overgrown rough, but overall very good value, will be back.

The course is getting in better shape, spots are re growing and the greens are in really good shape for the most part.

Unfortunately the booking problems are still the same. Show up for a 3:30ish Tuesday tee time as a twosome, and find out that there is a high school golf tournament AND a scramble tournament going on at the same time.

5 hour rounds have become the norm at Mayfair, but the course conditions are improving.

Tee'd off at 8:21am, and actually there was no one in front of us for 2 holes. We never waited, course flow was great and finished around 4 hours total.

Greens and teeboxes are perfect, rolling true. Will be back soon, love the new GPS systems.

Decent day. Nothing special, crazy slow (5 hour round). Greens were in good shape.

Was only $25 for 2pm on a beautiful Saturday afternoon, so I had to jump at this rate.

Still a great layout and fun course, but it's in a little rough shape. Greens are a little patchy, fairways are dry, teeboxes okay.

I'd still pay the $25 to play here agin tho.

Played on sunday 11/6 for only $25 at 8:10AM (what a deal).

The greens and teeboxes are in fantastic shape, this course has really become a gem in the past year. I will be coming back again

Bring balls, this is a tight layout, no forgiveness if you are off the fairway for the most part.

Course is still in the same shape it's been in over the past 3 years I've played. Sandy greens, patchy fairways, overgrown areas.

Can't really complain though, since I only paid $10 on golfnow

Got a 8:30 tee time on a Sunday for only $25... so you can't really beat that.

The greens had little consistency as some are in the shade and some are in the sun... so green speed changes every hole almost

Few wet/muddy spots, but otherwise it looked good... fairways could use a little love.

As always, Zellwood is the best value around the NW Orlando area. Tee boxes and greens are in great shape, fairways are decent.

I drove from Mount Dora to visit this course, and it pleasantly surprised me. I used a hot deal for only $10.50 and I figured the course would be burnt or over run... but the greens were in decent shape and all the tee boxes were maintained.

The layout of the course was very hard, with lots of dog legs... but overall it was a great experience.

I got the 3:50 hot deal for $15 (holy cow what a steal of a deal) and went to the course alone. The club shop attendant was helpful with setting me up and letting my girlfriend ride with me for free (always a bonus).

The first 9 holes went pretty smooth, took about an hour and a half, but then around hole 11 we ran into a family who apparently jumped on the course in front of us. There was five of them, and they played EXTREMELY slow... The course didn't have any rangers out, so I eventually had to skip two holes just to get in front of them.

Rain came down before I could finish, so I really only got in about 14 holes. I would like it if they had rangers on the course to maintain the pace of play... but the course is excellent. I'll be back, and hopefully no slow play!

I played Mayfair once about a 16 months ago and it was by far the worst course I've played in central Florida due to the condition and pace of play.

I played again this past Saturday (because I heard it had new management and was in better shape) and I think that will be my last opportunity I give to Mayfair.

We booked a 2:07pm tee time because the price wasn't bad ($18) and when we arrived to the course we found a jam packed parking lot. Going into the club house to check in took 20 minutes alone as they had one person behind the counter and there were about 10 people in front of us.

We find out that Mayfair had booked a Bachelor party of probably 20 guys or so to go off at 2:00... and they did not take down their times on GolfNow.

So we finally tee'd off around 2:45 and didn't complete the round due to the pace of play... also the course had not gotten much better as there was tons of dead grass and over grown areas.

I won't recommend this course.

Not for beginners, lots of tight fairways and if you can't hit your drive straight (like me) then you're in for a long day.

Played on a Sunday, cart girl was out on the course so that's a huge plus! Weather was great, the course is close to Daytona Speedway too, so we could hear the Rolex 24 going on as we golfed which was awesome.

I'll be coming back to play soon.

Played on 11/23 at 8am tee time, it was a little wet with the cold front moving through but the weather ended up holding great.

Course is in amazing shape, couldn't find any ground under repair or rough spots... greens fast and smooth, tee boxes very well maintained. Amazing wildlife around as well.

Highly recommend this course for any level of golfer

I have played this course about a dozen times now, and I think it gets better each time I visit. Everything is in great shape, as the greens were punched a few weeks ago and now rolling smooth.

Most of the fairways are in great shape, and even the fairway bunkers are maintained nicely. Paid $25 for a Sunday 9am tee time, so for my money you can't beat this value for that time.

This course is the best bang for your buck around, being able to get hot deals for $10 during early afternoon is a deal you can't beat.

Almost always wide open and you can tell they are trying to get the course in better shape... a few greens need some love, but overall it's getting better.

Will play again, often.

Even on a cold/windy day I still had a blast. Played with a random guy, he kicked my butt
