We came out for a week from Texas to play golf with friends. We’ve never played Wildfire so decided to splurge. Impressive pro shop with a great selection of anything golf. The staff was especially nice and helpful. There are a variety of tees for everyone. The practice areas and the course was in great condition. The pace of play could not have been better. Although the course and amenities met / exceeded our expectations, we felt like the price was slightly higher than some equally nice courses in the area.

Course gives a great chance to see famous holes that you'd otherwise not get to play. It was a challenge, but it was still a fair course. Plenty of bunkers but good sand in the bunkers. Course was long, especially for the ladies. If it hadn't been for the Hot Deal on Golf Now, we wouldn't have played at the normal greens fees price. Due to the heat (I'm assuming), several fairways were in pretty rough condition. Loved reading the stories told on the markers on each hole.

We've played at Willow Springs several times, but after a super wet May in Texas, we finally had a pretty day to get out and play. The greens were extremely grainy, but could be do to the heavy, heavy rains we've had. Some of the holes had obviously been flooded, and were still cart path only. But what a great job they've done to get it back to playable so soon after the flooding in the area. It's a great course to walk, which is a rare find in the DFW area. The staff is super. It's a great value course too.

This is an old course built in the '30s. Good layout with mature trees but not densely wooded so you're not likely to loose any balls. City owned and may not get the necessary budget to keep it in tip top condition but the greens -for dead of winter - were in very good condition and very sloped to make it a challenge. Very few bunkers or hazards. Enjoyed the fact that it was a very walkable course and allowed push carts.

Great golf course and would love to play it more, but over an hours drive for us. Friendly staff, nice facilities. Greens are great, and big! Love the par 3's and some of the par 5's require your best drive. Watch out for hole #8....creek meanders around on this hole.

We typically play around noon and we usually get a round in about 3-1/2 hours. Course has a good mix of moderate & difficult holes. Greens were in the best shape we've seen on this course. Not a good course to play if it's windy in the winter, but a nice place to play on a warm/summer day. I believe they have new carts and these carts are equipped with a GPS, however it's mounted on the driver's side. So if you have a playing partner it's difficult to check out the yardages. Overall a great place to play.

When we booked we weren't aware it was a 9 hole course....first disappointment. Second disappointment...cart path only. However, in their defense they have recently had 15+ inches of rain. But it made for a long (& super hot) day. A lot of blind shots. Tree lined as well as heavy brush, so not forgiving at all. If you weren't in the fairway, forget it...your ball was lost. A lot of side hill lies, up & down hills. No cart girl, so bring your own drinks. I wouldn't recommend for walkers or beginners.

We've played here before and the course is typically in great condition. It's been a long, cold winter and the course is just starting to shape up and hopefully the greens will too. We couldn't beat the pace of play.

Good course for the money this time of year. Most holes have quite a bit of character. Elevated greens and deep bunkers.

Course has a good layout but money hasn't been put back into the course to keep it in good condition for this time of year. All of the tee boxes are crowned, so when teeing your ball you're hitting below your feet or above your feet. The pace of play is not good and we didn't see any Marshals. The bunkers had quite a bit of gravel in them and many were hard as a rock.

Fairly tight course that requires all the clubs in your bag. Greens in excellent condition. Overall, it's a fun layout.

The course was in excellent condition. Great lay-out without any squirrely holes. Front side is slighly easier than the back. Back side gets progressively harder as you reach 18. Greens were in great shape. Overall, we had a very pleasant experience.

First of all, don't go on a windy day. Very open course. Doesn't have a lot of definition due to the lack of trees. The design of several holes is peculiar. Front side: both par 5's very short. Back side: other extreme, & several holes very long. Hole #18 is a par 5 but due to the layout, it forces you to hit a short club off of the tee unless you can bomb your drive. I feel like several of the holes are handicapped incorrectly.

Nice course, good value, challenging, friendly staff

If you get a chance, go play this little hidden gem. It's got some great holes, tough but fair and what a great value. We play during the week and seem to always have about a 3-1/2 hour round.

This is a great value course. It's also a hidden gem. During the week not very crowded. If you think you've got your game mastered, play this course to find out if you're right!

We really enjoy playing this course. Several sets of tees to suit any handicap golfer. Great layout, challenging, but not unfair. Nice homes line some of the holes without coming into play. Friendly staff in both the pro shop and on the course.
