Challenging and nice layout. However, failed to inform that they were mulching the back 9 as we golfed. Made for some unsightly and difficult playing fairways.

I thought this would be one of the better courses in the area but was quickly disappointed. First we arrived one hour early and told we got there too early for check in and we were not going to tee off until scheduled time even though it was not busy. Have they ever though we may want to”practice “ before round? Second the cart girl did not have beer on the cart why would you still come around? Then when she came back hour later it was last call. Really? Finally gre no were like playing on plywood.. will not be back.

Played On 07/28/2017Course was found to be less than expectation. Conditions could be better. Ball marks not repaired and should be given attention. Best sand in traps.
Thank you so much for sharing your feedback with us and with the golfing community. We are truly sorry that your experience at Ocean Pines did not meet your expectations. We've had a run of wet weather (5 inches of rain in 7 days), which has left the greens a bit softer than normal. As a result, any impact on the turf has been greater than it normally would be. We generally rely upon players to repair their ball marks, but of course those repairs don't always happen. If our maintenance crew spots the damage and is able to make a repair within the time frame when that's possible, they will. Otherwise the course repairs itself in a little bit of time. We hope you'll decide to give our Robert Trent Jones-designed course another try sometime - we'd love to have you back. In the meantime, thank you again for your comments!
