We enjoyed it for a good price. A nice layout with a big variety of holes. Most holes had unique characteristics which made it more fun. It wasn’t manicured like one expects from a “National “ course but was a nice overall experience. Pace of play was good. Sand was nice. We would play it again.

A beautiful day to enjoy an excellent golf course. Greens rolled true and were fast. Lots of water but manageable. Fairways and traps were in good shape as were the tees. The sand in the bunkers was very playable. Pace of play was excellent and all the staff we encountered were friendly and helpful. This course hit all the right buttons.

This is a very nice par 60 executive course and it was in very good shape. Pace of play was perfect and we couldn’t I. Would recommend to any golfer.

Very nice course. Well maintained. The greens were a little slow due to sand on the greens. Food was good at the turn. We would certainly play again. Almost no water on the course to deal with which is unusual in the area.

The food in the clubhouse is fresh and served with a smile.

The pace of play is usually a little slow especially if you aren’t a four some..
The layout is challenging but fair.
Greens roll smooth and are usually on the fast side.
Green fee includes a small bucket of balls to warm up with.
The chipping and putting greens are conveniently located.
Oh and water comes into play on several holes. If it’s not war we irs very tough native grasses.
Keep it in the short grass or pay the price.
I encourage you to tee it up at Egwani Farms. You’ll be glad you did.

Egwani is always a good choice from the small bucket of warmup balls included in your green fee, to the staff who are always friendly and professional. A nice practice range, chipping green with sand bunkers and putting green are all very conveniently located. The speed of the putting green is a reliable measure of the greens on the course. The crazy slope on #10 green and the crazy layout of the par 5 #11 are conversation subjects of players at Egwani.. The short tee shot and elevation change of the second shot over water make #11 a challenge unique to Egwani Farms. Reliably fast greens and a relatively open view of the course make Egwani somewhat unique to the area. The rough can be and usually is big trouble which makes keeping the ball in the short grass an important element of one’s game. In wet conditions the fairways on #12 & 13 can be very soggy. Pace of play can get slow if you are not in a foursome because the course is usually pretty full. Water can come into play on more than half the holes if you get out of the fairway so hit em straight and you will enjoy the challenge and beauty of this fine, well maintained, public course.

It’s a par 62 executive course so it’s kind a fun to say I shot 74 and stop there.. the greens were painfully slow and had some bare spots but the bare spots were usually around the edges. The layout was a little tricky for me since I had never played the course. I played to the wrong green once and a couple of holes needed better signage pointing which way to the next tee when you needed to backtrack. The course was fun and very short. Its a good type course to work on your short game.

Lambert Acres is a local favorite of mine. 27 holes so you don’t play the same 18 every time. Fairways and greens always nice. The layout is enjoyable with generous fairways and well-maintained greens. The price is always reasonable and most of the time the Pace of play is satisfactory. There are very few mong send traps. And water seldom comes in to play. Tried I think you'll like it.

Egwani Farms is always challenging. Greens were smooth and fast. Fairways well maintained. You must stay out of the deep.rough which surrounds most of the holes. Water can come into play on 13 of the 18 holes so keeping your shots in the fairway pays dividends.

Three Ridges is an above average public coarse. Fairways and greens are well maintained. They have been working to eliminate many of the bare, rocky areas out of the fairways and are making excellent progress turning them into native grass areas. Bunkers are hard to keep in good condition for everyone in an area that gets considerable rain but they work hard to maintain them. Pro Mark Brown has done and continues to do a great job . Staff is friendly, the layout is nice and will make you use most of your clubs.

I love this course but on this accession the greens had not fully recovered from being punched. They were very slow and bumpy. They are making progress with the bunkers getting playable sand in more each month but still have a way to go. The scenery was wonderful as usual. Don’t give up on Island Point. It will continue to improve.

My sons and sons-in-laws come with me to Hilton Head Island regularly for golf and we enjoyed this course as much as any we have played here. Big fare ways. Good greens, good layout, great pace of play, friendly staff, great food a really fun round. The course plays long but leaves you room to work. Very good practice area and the course was in beautiful condition.

Patriot Hills is always a nice place to play. Greens were good and consistent. #3 is a different animal. A short par 4 which should be an easy par but it invites you to take a risk and go for the green in from the tee. Don’t do it! Pace is usually good and the course is in good condition. Good deals on Golfnow make it even better.

I love this golf course. It is set 3 miles from the I-40 on the Southeast side of Knoxville. Take the Midway Rd exit and follow the signs. Zoysia grass fairways make the ball sit up beautifully and the champions Bermuda greens are very nice. Set on the banks of the French Broad river, the wildlife and views are so peaceful and serene. I call it my serenity’ golf course. That doesn’t mean it won’t challenge golfers of all skill levels. Two par 3s play all carry across the river. Hole #3 is the one everyone talks about. If your shot is short, pulled left, pushed right or hit long you are probably in the river (just saying). Staff is friendly and helpful. The driving range is so-so, practice greens are on a slope except the one by # 1 tee. Pace of play is usually good if you are a foursome. The price is very reasonable, especially if you book on Golf Now.

The greens have FINALLY recovered. Last year 2019 was a nightmare for this fine golf course. A fungus destroyed the greens and it took a Herculean effort and a lot of work to conquer the beast. My first round at Avalon for 2020 was a pleasant surprise as I found the greens to be almost fully recovered. That being said, the course was otherwise, as usual, very well maintained. Fairways and bunkers were in very good shape. Avalon has upgraded facilities which were already above average. The carts are a cut above, with GPS and computerized scoring. They are always clean and well maintained with an automatic breaking system which protects you from losing control on some of the steep cart path sections. The staff in the pro shop, restaurant , beverage cart and support are friendly and pleasant. This course has a very good layout with a challenging array of holes. If you’ve never played it, you should. If you sat out 2019 because of the greens, it’s time to give it another chance. You’ll be glad you did.

This is a mountain course with some pretty good elevation changes. Most of my rounds here the course has been pretty wet. The layout is good and the pro shop staff is friendly. Playing conditions are usually average or below due to the fairways not draining well. Pace of play is usually ok. The greens roll pretty well so I won’t complain about them. A few of the greens are small and. Some have plenty of undulations to read. There is usually a great deal for this course on Golf Now which is why it stays on my list. The fare ways are far from lush but what grass they have is ok. If you find yourself on a bare spot or moist spot you don’t have to roll it far to find some grass.
