I have played GC of E a few times, but not for the past couple of years. The course remains challenging and scenic, but some maintenance seems to have been deferred. Little sand in the bunkers, cart paths poor in spots, and the cart getting pretty wheezy.

Quintero is a challenging course. The fairways are wide, but a miss into the desert is penal and bunkers are everywhere. The staff is super friendly. Follow the directions closely as it is hard to find.

This course wanders through the rocky hills of what will be a community. Right now it is fairly raw and highly priced. In a few years, it will be a gem. The closing three holes are beautiful. The par three's in general are ordinary.

This course is a typical or a little below municipal golf course. The greens were excellent, the fairways were good, but the rough areas and the surrounding visuals were not good. We had a beginner with us: It is good for beginners or practice rounds, but I would not want to play it for a destination round.

The course was in excellent shape, the views were great, the greens putted true, and the holes were varied and challenging. The drawback is that the course has many difficult shots required, and one errant shot usually produces a double. I hit four drives I thought were perfect and ended up with three lost balls and one in a depression.

The course provided a decent place to play a round of golf. Conditions were adequate, but grass was thin in several areas. It had reasonable length and difficulty, but no memorable holes. The price was appropriate. It was a good experience, but I would not drive 25 miles to play it again.

This is the best course in the West Valley. Course conditions, practice area, and service are all top notch. It is a challenge that produces a fair score. Full price is a little high, but the GolfNow price is reasonable.

Over the past five winters, I have played the Wigwam occasionally. A few years ago, I thought it was overrated. This year the conditions have improved greatly and I would recommend it to anyone. The grass in the fairways and roughs is especally good for Arizona. The only drawback was the bunkers need more sand.
