I booked a round of golf at this course whilst paying a brief visit to the area. I found the car park easily enough though the location of the course itself was not that obvious but having passed the barred gate and made the short uphill climb I discovered the course but also the fact that there is no clubhouse as such, just a shed. Nonetheless the welcome from the staff was warm and I was allowed to go out a full hour before my allotted tee time. This was because apparently there was no one else out on the course besides the greens staff. An interesting and very well maintained course in a beautiful setting. Well worth a visit.

For a relatively new course it is settling down very nicely. The only drawback for me at the moment is the amount of construction going on in and around the course. The temporary green on 5 was also a disappointment. Nonetheless a lovely course and worth a visit.

Having played this course many times over many years I was delighted to read recent reviews of the improvements being made. Sadly the reality did not live up to my expectations. Having said that, it is obvious that work is being undertaken which when completed will hopefully see the rejuvenation of a course that was once among the best in the area. There is still a way to go but having seen it at what hopefully was its lowest I applaud the efforts now being made. At current rates it is very good value for money and our playing and supporting it will help get it back to where it belongs.

It's a few years since we last played this coarse when it wasn't well maintained. There are obvious improvements, especially the greens, but there still remains work to be done. Some of the tees had more in common with the beach than a golf course. Having said that it was very reasonably priced and was therefore good value for money.

Having played this course a number of times over many years the thing that strikes me is the consistently high standard of facilities and course maintenance. Though other courses in the area have had their ups and downs, at Royal St. Cloud you always know what you are going to get. The other thing I appreciate is the consistency of pricing. A fair and reasonable price for everyone regardless of where you happen to live. If our journey to get there was a little shorter we would play it far more frequently rather than be fleeced as visitors to Florida on many other courses.

There was nothing particularly wrong with this course. The greens and fairways were in good condition though the surrounding areas were a little parched. Perhaps had I played from the longest tees (6000yds) it would have presented more of a challenge but from anything farther forward it became very bland. Staff were very friendly but I just came away without any great desire to dash back.

The course was in decent condition and the price fair . It was just a pity that they seemed to cram on too many people. Even the ranger was complaining that the course was overfull.This was then compounded by having to follow a four ball of less than proficient golfers. At one point we had four groups on the same hole. Nonetheless we will be back.

The changes in elevation make this an interesting and sometimes challenging course compared to th other predominantly flat courses in the region. The price was very reasonable but this meant there were many people playing and the round was slow. Overall the condition of the course wasn't bad but some of the greens were definitely in need of attention. The staff were very welcoming but having played this course in the past the actual round was a little disappointing.

Although we started just after 8.00am the two of us were the first people out and completed our round in just over three hours. The condition of the course was very good but as the majority of the holes were through residential areas it was not particularly picturesque. If you manage to avoid the water and impenetrable waste the greens were excellent. The of course facilities are very good and the staff both on and off the course friendly and efficient.

This course provides eighteen very different holes making for an interesting but not too challenging round of golf. The first hole with its tee sitting high above the level of the green with Lake Louisa as a backdrop sets the tone for what is about to follow. We have now played this course on a number of occasions and have invariably found the staff, both external and in the clubhouse, very friendly. It has certainly always been very good value for money.
