It may have taken three years to repair the damage but I’m impressed with the shape the greens are finally in.
Please let your superintendent and his crew know we appreciate the work they put in the greens this year..

As expected, the Jones course was in great shape. The only reason you didn’t get five stars was because of the condition of the sand traps. I know we had plenty of rain last week, but that was last week. They should be machine rake daily, not weekly. Some were rock hard.
Greens were perfect, and rolled at a 10 to 11 on the Stimp. Very nice.
Great pace for our round. Just over 3 hours.

I’m glad they are trying to get the greens to be more consistent, but they have been bad since the spring.
Pace of play slooow! but this was the first nice day to play in a week.
If the superintendent ever figures out the greens, Venetian could give LPGA courses a run for the money.

Normally I never say negative things about LPGA courses but some small things are starting to add up. Bunkers are in bad shape, most haven’t been groomed in a while. Greens are rolling fast and true, but even high soft landing pitches are rolling off. Ruff up a little high for me, maybe not for a scratch golfer. Never saw a cart girl the whole round, and the turn snack bar closed.
LPGA is the gold standard in Daytona, please don’t let it get away.

Glad to see the effort being made to improve your greens. Pace of play a little slow on front nine, but much improved back nine. Course was a little wet but still in amazing shape.
If your in the area, put Venetian Bay on your courses to play. Best course for the money.

If the temperature wasn’t 97* and 100* humidity this would have been the best round there ever. Course is in immaculate condition. Greens rolling true and at good speed. I had the course to myself until I reached 18,
Guess I’m the only one unwise enough to take on the heat.
Still a good round, staff very friendly and attentive. Still the best Daytona Beach golf course.

Snuck in 18 before the downpour. Course nice and green from all the rain. Traps were rock hard from the rain but still playable. Green on 12 is under repair but still very playable. Nice to see the effort being put in to keep this course up.
This the only course that gives LPGA a run for its money. I strongly recommend you play Venetian Bay.

Fairways and tees in nice shape. Greens are coming out of aeration and repairs have been made to several.
Glad to see Venetian putting in the work. Looking forward to my next visit.

Great day for eighteen. Course is in fare shape. Greens healing from aeration, but playable. With some TLC this course could move up the ranks of courses in the area. Fairways and tee boxes are sparse on quite a few holes.
I like the improvements made, please keep it up. Love playing the weekends because of the air traffic at the airport.
Saw a P41 and Bi-plane today, along with many newer models.

Snuck in a round before green aeration. Fairways look good and course was not to crowded.. Gary, Dick and Megan made the round most enjoyable. You will get reduced rates while greens are healing starting Thursday, but in ten days the course should be back to its best. See you all soon.

Weather was stellar today. Course was in very good shape. The only complaint are the edges on a few greens. Looks like burn out from bad greens cutting. I’m sure a little water and care will correct in time.
Gary, Dick , and Jessica did a great job making the round enjoyable.
Put Venetian on your must play list, you will not regret it.

Played a year and a half ago and this course was in great shape. Greens are trash now with bare spots and random repairs. Fairways could use water. They are bare and patchy and in bad shape. Even the range isn’t managed well.
I used a hot deal from Golf Now and that was too much to pay for the condition it was in.
Service was A-Plus but that can’t make up for the poor conditions.
PS: No cart girl either, make sure you bring your own.

Little breeze but pace of play was very good. Tee boxes are a little sparse but course is still in good shape.
