We played with two resident locals who provided gteat insite on course & history.

Very scenic, with elevated tees, minimal water. Fun course.

Lots of water comes into play, but if you hit it straight you're fine. Greens had a sand top dressing, but they putted true.

I have played Imperial Lakewoods several times. It"s a good layout, but some of the bordering houses can present a problem.
Play was slow, so we played the front nine twice. Played in less than 4 hours. Alligators adorn the banks of some of the lakes.
You leave them alone, they will leave you alone, Driving range is into a lake. No roll there. It 's labeled an Aqua Range. Greens were in good shape. You have to adjust to Florida greens.
