We had a wonderful experience! The greens, especially, were in superb shape even though transitioning to Bermuda grass. Putts were consistent speed (quick!) and rolled true. Fairways, bunkers, tees all very good. We may have just been lucky, but pace of play was as good as it gets (3 hours)). The layout is very flat, but made challenging by well-placed bunkers and a few lakes. Overall, we were very pleased and will definitely come back.

First, I like the course since it is very playable for an average player like me. It is in good shape, challenging, but not tricky; it has a good mix of holes. Best of all are the staff—cordial and accommodating. I always feel welcome. Reminds me of the course I used to play back in the Midwest.

Temporary aeration condition detracted from the experience. However, this is a necessary maintenance procedure this time of year. The course was still fun and a good challenge. Folks are friendly and professional. Have enjoyed playing here in the past and will be back soon.

This is a fun track. The course was is excellent condition especially having come through overseed a few weeks ago. Cart path only is no longer in effect. Pace of play was fine until the back nine. Bunkers were generally in good shape but with COVID protocol, there were no rakes; that’s not a criticism-it’s just how it almost everywhere. We will definitely be back!

The staff was friendly and efficient. We teed off on time and finished in roughly 4 hours. The course was in superb condition. Fairways, tees an greens were all manicured. Greens were relatively fast and rolled true. Sand was well-kept; with no rakes, we occasionally took a free drop. In all, the experience was very good. Will definitely come back!

The course was in immaculate condition; very challenging, esp the greens. The best part was the staff. The pro shop folks were as nice as could be. The starter, I believe, Ron?, got us out a little early which was great. Definitely will play here again.

I have to compliment the staff each of them were very helpful, esp the starter who got us on a little early. Course was in excellent condition although some bunkers were very firm and rocky. On balance, a good experience. Recommend.

1. I love this course. Not overly tight, tee to green, but very demanding of a precision short game.
2. The scenery is a delight; a joy to behold.
3. The staff and facilities are superior.
4. Be prepared for a 5 hour round. It will be slow because of the green and green side challenges for the average player.

Course is not easy, but fair. Greens are somewhat fast and putts roll true. Good mix of holes. Very eye-appealing. I definitely will be back sometime soon.

The course is a traditional '60's type course: not overly long, grassy throughout with some water hazards here and there. Greens are bunkered, but there is usually an opening on your approach. Food service is excellent, and the views of Camelback Mtn and the surrounding homes are exquisite. Great staff, too. Would definitely do it again.

Starfire is not a long course, but requires some precision on your short game. Greens are firm, but roll pretty true. Fairways are reasonably good, and sand is reasonably consistent. Staff was cordial.
