The presentation upon entering the property has a lot of wow factor. But the attitude of pretty much everyone who worked there left much to be desired. Gave me the distinct feeling of a private club that reluctantly caters to public play.

It's sad when the overall experience at such a great golf layout can be tarnished by the quality of food and beverage. It started with the refreshment cart being shut down for the day a half hour after our tee time, with no notice provided. It was 90 degrees out!!! Then we finished our round and were looking forward to the much publicized burger night. We made an advance reservation, got seated promptly and our order was taken promptly. That was the good news. bad news was that the wine and soft drink took 20 minutes to be served, and an hour after that we were still sitting there waiting for our burgers...for 2 people...at which point the waitress came along with her third lame excuse of the day and asked if we would like to have a "10 to 15% discount" off our check. We promptly advised her that she could pay for the wine instead, and we left. A HORRIBLE experience at a premium golf facility! SAD!

Other than the roughs still being dormant and brown, the course was in excellent condition. Great fairways and greens. but after playing the front nine at a nice 2 hour pace, the back nine took us more than 3 hours - can't help but think some 9 hole bookings were sent out on the front. No other reason for it to slow down like that...unless people were stopping and taking advantage of the "free lunch" coupon that was offered with the rate. And that, also, makes no sense for people to be allowed to stop and eat, then jump back in at their convenience.

Had never played here (played the south course many times years ago). It was a pleasant surprise all around. Nice layout, very good condition for December and a lot of good, challenging holes. Great value.

Even in December, it's always nice to play RLP! Weather was pleasant for the first 12 holes, but as the sun sunk behind the clouds that were building over the mountains, it was time to pull out the windbreakers. Beats shoveling snow at home.

I know it's November, but had I not gotten a smokin' hot deal as a single on golfnow, I would have been very disappointed with this course. Average at best.

Cart paths etc, need some work, but course was in very good shape, and was a great challenge. We were second group of the tee in the morning, so no waiting, no watching. Perfect!

Great weather, few golfers and excellent course condition all led to an amazing day. Took advantage of the "all you can play" offer and played 36 holes in 7 hours.

I was extremely happy with the whole package. Great condition and friendly for a first-timer on the course.
