Providence Golf Course in Excellant condition

Played this morning at 0726am. Our 2 some was the second group to go off. The course is very plush, from the tee boxes to the greens. Course has lots of water, sand, and beautiful houses surrounding the course. The employee who brought us out our cart to the parking lot was also the same guy that cleaned our clubs, and shoes when we were done. He was very personable and appeared to love his job. We will play this course again.

Nice layout

Wife and I played Crown Park and found the course to be in very good shape. The course was very crowded, and took 4.5 hrs to complete. The course is a very fair course with no tricked out holes. The greens rolled true and average speed. Most fairways plenty wide. We would play the course again.

Better hit it straight.

Wife and I played course after a night of heavy rain. The course was extremely wet and the outside temp was only 37 degrees. Garrett, the pro at Brick Landing was very helpful and let my wife out before out tee time. The course is very tight and most holes have ponds and a lot of carryover water. The only problem with the course today is that 75% of our shots plugged in the fairways which became a muddy problem. Average golfer should play from the white tees. The gold tees were to close. Overall the course has some beautiful scenery , and would love to play it again, but when course dries out.

Beautiful greens

I was a single golfer and had an early morning tee time. Clubhouse put me with 3 other guys who were a blast to play a round with. The carts appeared to be near brand new, and the GPS worked fine. The starter was real nice and explained the course and which holes were cart path only due to the over night rain. The white tees were plenty long for the average golfer. Hit the ball straight, and you will shoot good. The greens were recently replaced and were like putting on carpet. They were firm, and the ball keeps rolling, but the putting was true. Round took 3.5 hrs, and we were all satisfied. Some reviews mentioned the tee areas needing work. The grass was a little high , but I'm guessing they are trying to fill in any bare spots. grow

International Course Very Nice Course to play

Booked the course through golfnow.com and when my wife and I arrived, the valet took our clubs and parked our vehicle. No problems checking in, and the price includes unlimited golf balls at their driving range. The starter explained everything about the course, including some very good advise. The course is very plush, and the greens rolled true. We had nobody in front of us all 18 holes. There are plenty (like quite a few) sand traps located everywhere. Several holes have ponds also. If I had any complaint, it would be that the course has NO womans tees. My wife is an average golfer, and thought that the forward tees at 5300 yards was a little long. Yes we would play this course again.

Nice green course

One of the few public courses in area that was green and had grass due to the lack of rain in Cape Coral this winter. Very nice course. Tight greens, and some water. Front nine we played fast. Back nine terribly slow. Got behind a 3 some ( members of course) that felt they had a right to hit 2 balls from the tee, and several times from. Fairway. After several holes, I had to ask them about golf etiquette. The best of the 3 some said " Go hit two balls yourself if you want. I responded that I play like your suppose to play the game, and I further stated to them that after they hit their fairway shots 1 time, that I would hit into them if they continued to hit a second ball. The 2-3 extra shots ended. No marshal seen on back 9. I would play this course again. Twilight rate starts at 2pm, and price drops to $45.

Very Nice

We had a 4 some and got a hot deal for 2:38pm of $39. The starter was able to get us off at 2:20pm. The course has a lot of water, and most Greens very large. The fairways and greens were in very good condition. We saw the marshals on the course who kept people moving. We finished hole 18 as the sun set. What a nice course to play . It was challenging, but if you can hit the wide fairways, you could score. We would play again if we get another great deal.

Very nice course

My wife and I booked Demes Acres for a crazy low price of $10 on golfnow.com. We were looking for a nice course to play that we were hoping was in decent shape. When we arrived, we met the owner who signed us in. She was so friendly and we talked about the course . We teed off with only a single golfer in front of us. The course only played to just over 5700 yards, but it didnt play short. The course was apparently bought recently by a couple, and they are doing a great job maintaining the course. The fairways are in very good shape, and the greens like velvet. A few of the greens on the back side were recently plugged, but the owner had advised us. The course was fun to play also. There are some very long par 3s, and some dog legged par 4s and 5s. We will play Deme Acres again soon.

It's ok

The east course is better than the west course. The greens are very large, and very green. They are slower than many courses. The course needs rain real bad. Fairways are ok, but not plush. The several ponds come into play, but they smell terrible. The clubhouse employees, and starter very friendly and helpful. My wife and I teed off at 0700, and were done with 18 at 0945. Overall a nice course.

Very nice course

My wife and I booked the course at a great golfnow price. We called the course the night before our 803a tee time and asked if we could tee off earlier as a 2some. The lady at the desk asked the starter, and we were set for 0745 tee off. We only had a two some in front of us the first 9, so we played fast. The course very good shape, and it appears that do a lot of watering. The greens are cut short, and very fast with a lot of roll. The greens are very true. When we made the turn, play slowed down a bit. The course put out a 4 some on the back 9, and we all know the story from here. Overall it was a wonderful day of golf. We finished in 3.5 hrs which is acceptable. Lots of water carry on course, but very fair. I heard senior rates are very good here also. We will return here again. I do wish the course would put sand bottles on the carts and tees of the par 3's to help with digits left everywhere. Carts have GPS also.

Nice course with great Marshal

My wife and I booked a tee time through Golfnow.com with an 8:48a tee time. We checked in and were advise that at the 1st tee will be 3 three groups in front of us. We took our time riding up the hill to the first tee. The tee had 6 golfers who had 4 bags total in their carts. All 6 of the guys hit more than one ball, and proceeded to play as a 6some. Before we arrived on the first green, a marshal arrived and stated he would take care of the 6some. The marshal advised that the group was part of a bachelors party, and they would try to speed things up by playing g best ball, and only play as 3somes. We inquired if it would be possible to skip a few holes to speed things vs up. The marshal was able to put us on hole 5, and it was smooth sailing the rest of the round. The course is a very scenic course, and is difficult at times. The greens were nice and fast. On the carts, my wife and I noticed a flyer that had information on the courses restaurant and specials. When we finished golf, we went into the grill and the cook was able to cook us what we wanted. We advised the bar tender that we were both ordering the chicken sandwich combo that was listed on our golf card. The bar tender stated that those prices were no longer good, and that the flyers in the cart were old. She did however make sure we got what we ordered at the stated price in the carts. She stated she would do anything for us to make us happy. She was great, as was the cook. The lunch was really good, and so was the price. We will return to the Golf Course at Mt. Brighton.

Watch for the hidden ponfs

My wife and I played Magnolia Landings after booking it through Golfnow.com
The course was a little more than we usually spend, but it is winter in Southern Florida. The clubhouse and locker rooms were wonderful. I wish the pro shop had more choices of shirts to buy. The course is in wonderful shape. Beware, there is water hidden at times on many holes. The fairways seemed to flow towards the water also. Over all with the GPS on the carts, and the condition of the course, I would totally recommend playing Magnolia Landing while in the Ft Myers area.

Very nice course to play

My wife and I arrived at 12:20p for a 1pm tee time and were informed by the starter as we were approaching the pro shop that he has put us on ith another 2 some. And that we were on the tee next. Wow, that never happens in the winter months in Florida. The starter explained the course to us, and were pleasantly surprised at the course. The layout is very nice, and somewhat challenging. There is plenty of sand, and the water can surprise you. The Greens were a brownish color, but putted fast. If I were to comlain, it would be the height of the grass in the fairway, which was very short. There wasn't much grass to hit off of which was frustrating at times. Once you got use to the short grass, you figured it out. I would play this course again. The picture on golfnow.com shows the course surrounded by houses, but there are only about 15 houses total sold at the course. Housing market died when the course first opened, and it looks like it hasn't rebounded at all.

Very nice course

I booked this course with my wife with a 6:45a tee time , knowing we would be the first to tee off. All courses in this part of Florida get crowded, so being early is a bonus. As we arrived so early, it was still too dark to tee off. A 4some of "Regulars" arrived, and drove around us and decided they needed to tee off first. We let them go, and they teed off . The course has a lot of water, and bunches of sand traps. The greens were just dressed with sand, but overall they were very good and true. The course played long from the white tees. It appeared that most played from the gold tees. I would totally play Mirror lake golf course again. The course is in very good shape. We paid $30 for our round, but noticed rates went up quickly during the day. Well worth the price we paid.

VerynNice course

Willow Metro park is a very nice course. The course was damp at 0700 in the morning, but expected. The greens were not cut, which I wished they were, because of the amount of water still on the greens when we putted. There are several dog legs that were enjoyable. The condition of the greens, fairways, and tee boxes were very good. Some of the holes for my wife were a little too long, even from the red tees. We will play this course again. The wife was somewhat bothered by the constant jets taking off from Detroit Metro, but got use to it after a while.
