Beautiful course

Took a vacation to Dallas and played this course after finding out it was theb#2 ranked public course in Dallas so I had to check it out. Nice fairways fast greens. Tee boxes (played from the silver tees) some had some long grass and weren't cut. But other than that for October golf the course was in very good condition. When in Dallas I will definitely play this course again. Friendly staff nice putting practice green and good wide driving range. Also has restaurant and normal snack bar.

Decent course

First time playing this course as a golfer from Kansas city Missouri. Rough was thin dry grass but was tall which made it thick if that makes sense. I assume this is a Dallas thing it reminded me of every homes yard versus all maintained golf grass. Fairways were dry as well. Choose design was nice. Couple challenging holes. Played this course on a hot deal with coupons so can't complain too much when you pay 1.50 for 18 holes. Would pay again but probably only with a hot deal.

First time breaking 100

I've played the other country creek courses a lot but this was my first time playing hoots hollow. This course has a bit more water involved than the quarry or rock courses but still wide open fairways that you can't do nothing but love. Shot my first score under 100 every on the 6600 yard course which made my day!!! Great course so be back. Fairways and rough aren't terrible but greens could be better shape, also super soft like it's clouds under the greens lol. But great fun nonetheless!

Nice course

This course was real nice. Never playing here before it was tough fairways are narrow lost a ton of balls haha, but rough is thin and greens and grounds are kept really nice. Wouldn't mind playing again just got to keep it in play!

First time.

First time playing this course got a hot deal from golfnow tee time was at 136 got there closer to 236 and they honored the tee time and the price which was awesome! The front 9 had me in love with this golf course. Beautiful course loved everything about it... Then the back nine began. Soooo many hills and valleys making for rough lies... Granted my golf game already isn't great, but hitting on all angled slopes it seems like had my wrists hurting by the end of the round after repeatedly hitting ground. This isn't a complete knock on the golf course themselves as myself will take majority of the blame for my talent at golf. As for me though I prefer minimal chances at killing the ground having to hit either up a crazy high slope or down the same reverse angled slope it's tough. Long course though that I enjoyed a day out on. Far from lees summit so probably won't play too often will just stop at winterstone instead.
