Course always in fine shape.
< $30 w/range balls is a good deal.

Recommendation is contingent on REDUCED price. Let's say... $40. No alert on website that Ironwood was punched a few days earlier. Mesquite was not pushed but "ratty." Tough to get a consistent roll.

Disappointed. I'd have played elsewhere if i knew the conditions.

I know times are odd. But you gotta get a ranger take a pass or two from time to time. C'mon. Knuckleheads that teed off 7:30 were slower than snails. Their golf course etiquette was non existent. Thank goodness we played thru them when they were 1.5 holes behind.

I understand stacking the tee times early w/the summer temps upon us. But hey, have a "ranger" take a lap or two to have the slowpokes get moving! Teed off @ 8:15. Played in 4 HOURS! Temps were 107 towards the end.

I've played here 10 times and enjoy the fair layout. This is the slowest I can recall and that counts the high season.

Decent pace (3:40).

Wigwam has been good about safety matters. Just hope
they don't revert to 2 (unaffiliated) players per cart just yet. Starter mentioned that was gonna happen. C'mon, summer play is upon us. You have enough carts. Be responsible.

The time of the year the 12 min. breakage makes for a comfortable pace. Never waited. Group behind us appeared fine 2-3 holes. 3:20 round.

Water buckets easily transfer virus.
Holes need to have cylindrical sponge so you can pick out ball w/backside of putter.
Saw many groups removing flags while putting.
NOT GOOD.

Course management has to think things through!

Always a good time at The Verrado courses. Lots of cautions put in place to "StopThe Spread." It's appreciated.

BUT, water jugs and Cart Girls should not be present. They ARE NOT present in my home club. Please tighten this up. We don't want to lose this activity for the sake of our sanity.

I play here from time to time since it's a fair challenge with a fair price. Nothing "snazzy" about the place, but worth taking a look if ur okay w/saving money.

Slow play (4.5 hours) on Monday afternoon.
No drinking water in buckets.

Frost Delay. It happens. I understand. My 11:08 time turned into 11:46. It coulda been < 11:46 if the Starter, Alan, would have done his job. I was a single and asked if he could fit me in. He said as soon as possible. I viewed there 3-somes and a twosome that went out. I was given lame excuses why I couldn't join. Pro Shop dude assured me the same when I checked in. Never happened.

No Ranger. 4:50 round!
What incompetence!

Only course open @ Wigwam. Gonna take a bit longer. Took us 4:37. Just hope you din't get paired up w/whiners like I did. I played well despite it.

All the other courses in area r in overseeding. 279 rounds on the tee sheet today. Pace was just under 4 hrs. Not bad. Tee to green fine. Greens okay for the most part. A couple were a bit "fuzzy." Still fine.

Most of the green were AWFUL! That's enough for me NOT to recommend until it's remedied. The fairways were in good shape coming off over-seeding. But many of the greens were barren or brown.

What a shame. We travel here (50 minutes) 4-5 times a year because we like the quirky layout. Pro Shop lady is cool as well.

Will be looking for improved conditions thru reviews before we venture here again.

Summer in the desert beats up a golf course. But when ur claiming to be and above average establishment, the fairways should not be as brown as they were today. My recommendation is based on price. If u can get the price < $25, I recommend.

Pro Shop man was a good dude. Give him a raise.

Summer in the desert can beat up a course that’s not well maintained. That’s the case here. I’ll return after I read good reviews.

Negatives:
Pin placement on 13. Scorecard has flag in front. Played approach to front of green. Flag was in back. Had to putt over roller coster green. If I knew pin was in back, I woulda played approach to back of green. This cost me 2 strokes.

Pace. 4:20 w/my 4-some waiting for 2-some over and over. Where was ranger?

Played here over the years and have yet to be disappointed. Primo establishment with primo experience.

Only thing missing was a few birdies.
