This course is a challenge. I love it even though it is quite a drive from my home.
My continuous issue is this is such a tough course, pace of play suffers and there is no pace monitoring. On this day, we were the 4th group off....the 3rd group played in over 5 hours with no one holding them up. Am sure the group combined for at least 500 strokes. If you are a 18 index or higher, you may want to try an easier course, you will have no. fun here

Straight, flat, no water. Typical tired 1960s Palm Springs course.
It didnt help that the course scheduled a shotgun. First 12 holes in 1.5 hours, last 6 after catching the shotgun was 2 hours. You won't get return customers at a six hour pace.

Always a good challenging course with mounding and moderate hazards.
I just wish the pace of play was better....no reason to play at 4:45 on this course, should not have to ball search much. And wish staff addressed pace of play instead of a token sympathize.
