Course is a little rough around the edges but keep it in play and you're in good shape. Greens were a bit slow, as the greenskeepers were periodically watering them during the day. Rolled true though, when you adjusted for the tempo. While there are really no amenities, the grill room food was good and the service top notch. The range balls were from a machine and came out unusually dirty. We wiped them down prior to hitting. Overall, we certainly plan to come back!

Overall very good/excellent experience yesterday. Grill room was friendliest, most efficient I've experienced this year. Course staff was very hospitable from the moment we drove up til the moment we left. Golf course was VERY challenging, probably requiring a couple visits to learn where NOT to hit!! But NOT tricked up...just tough! Seemed like pin placements were tournament tough. Hope to return next week!

We played in just over 3 hrs which is great for an Atlanta area course. Liked the facilities, including the range and practice putting and chipping green. Even had a beverage/snack cart during the round, unusual for a weekday! The staff, from the cashier in the pro shop, to the starter, and even maintenance crew were very friendly and accommodating. The course itself is laid out well but several greens were in bad shape. But maintenance was working on them, without interfering with our play. We WILL return!

Upon arriving I went to the grill room for some crackers and water to consume during the round. The lady was on the phone and it took several minutes for her to even just say hello. The pro shop guy who checked me in seemed to care less that I was there. Small bucket was expensive ($7.00 plus) and both grass areas of the driving range were closed. He didn't tell me that when I bought the bucket. It WAS a pleasant round, though most of the greens were heavily sanded. While they putted true, they putted slow. The sand on the cart to fill divots was hard and not very useful. This was my first time to play there, so I will probably give it another chance.

The mid-ninety degrees temp notwithstanding, it was a GREAT day! Course was in immaculate shape tee through green, even though greens were aerated only two weeks ago. Pleasant atmosphere, professional staff exhibiting that southern charm and friendliness; including golf cart shuttle from parking area to golf shop! Course us nearly an hour from my home, but I WILL be returning!

Loved the overall layout and elevation changes. Nothing was "tricked up". Even had a beverage cart circling the course (on a Thursday!). Staff was GREAT and moved our tee time up for us when we got there early. Played the Red and White nines (there is also a Blue nine) and only issue was one tee box getting re-done on the White nine. Did not affect the integrity of the hole though. First time at BF, but I will definitely return!

Just a couple greens a bit bumpy. Otherwise the course was in fantastic shape.
