Links of Lake Bernadette
Played On 04/03/2018I Recommend this course but avoid a guy named Larry
I play here on a regular basis. Nice decent course to work on your game. Pace can be a little slow because most member-groups play scramble or like to play as couples which is not a problem. Most members and other golfers are great unless you run into a guy named Larry. He wanted to play alone with his wife which was no big deal. So he had me tee-off as a single during a crowded day. I tried playing 2 balls to try to give another 2-some in front of me some space because they had to wait for 4 groups in front of them. But Larry came up and complained about me hitting 2 shots so I obliged and took normal time to tee-up and pull the pin and line up my putts so as not to rush the group in front of me unnecessarily. So how did that work out for you Larry?
Oh that's right. You got tired of waiting so you tried to be slick and replay the front only to turn back after 2 holes and go home because it was still backed up . Golf courses especially Lake Bernadette doesn't need angry impatient golfers like you Larry. Stay home.

Played On 05/02/2017Great local course
Great public course for the area. The course is managed in the right areas which keeps their overhead down, which in turn makes this course priced correctly. But don't get me wrong...this doesn't affect play and still worth going to. Only drawback is it can get a bit noisy around greens & tees on some holes since they are located pretty close with no buffer (ie..trees or hedges). No starter, rangers, or cart girl during the week either but they really aren't needed. This has always been my go to course in the area. The owners, staff and members are all very welcoming and friendly which adds to the value.
