I have played Sycuan Resort many times over the last few year's, but my last experience was not good. The guy in the pro shop was very rude when I checked in and told me they do not let golf.now players have their own cart, they must ride with other golf.now players. This was a midweek golf round and the course was not crowded at all. I enjoy playing golf with new people, but not sitting next to the wrong person for 4 hours. I played oak glen and it was in great shape, the fairways where overseeded and the greens rolled true. They are cutting back on the grass area off the fairways and installing mulch and drought plants. If you decide to play Sycuan resort I would recommend that you pick Willow glen course, it has a better layout and plays a few strokes harder.

Played on Saturday afternoon after a tournament was finishing on the course. I was pared up with Tim from Temecula and played 18 holes in less than 3 hours. This was my first time playing the course and shot a 82 and felt the course was in fair shape, my only concern was the green were on the slow side and I keep coming up short on my putt. My partner Tim shot a par round and said he has played the course a few times since they opened last October. My overall experience was good and I would recommend that if you want to take a beautiful backcountry drive and play a course that's not crowded give Warner Springs a tryout.

The course conditions are just average, but I do like the greens, they roll fast and true. I would recommend that you play salt creek and compare the greens to your home course.
