The front nine was closed but I had been advised by both Golf Now and the pro shop that it would be. Apparently the front is to open by October 15/16. The staff are friendly and helpful, fairways are in good shape, greens are terrific.
On vacation in Fort Myers and plan on playing here again.

Stay in the fairways. The rough is ROUGH. Greens in very good shape. Will play again.

The course could use some rain but is still very playable. A very unusual layout as you play the first 8 holes then cross a railroad track, play holes 9 to 17 re-cross the railway and finish up on 18.
Great scenery on the Gulf.

Whiskey Creek is a well maintained executive course. Staff and members were very friendly and helpful, a course side resident even gave us directions when I got going in the wrong direction.

Other than the slow pace of play this was a very nice golf experience. The greens were in great shape.

Course is in great shape for this time of year, greens a touch slow but consistent.

19th. hole on the Deck is great, amazing view of Blue Mountain.

Dunadel reminds me of playing golf with my dad in the 50s when I was a youngster.
Some water on the course, nice terrain changes, no bunkers, greens were small but in excellent shape
The staff were very friendly, the course could have been groomed bit better but was very playable.
Golf now price was $5. a REAL bargain.

An executive type course with some medium to long holes mixed in. The conditions were very good, greens were smooth. Everything was well maintained.

I haven't played Hickory Hill for several years and it just needs attention. I really like the layout but it requires attention.

This is a flat old style course with no tricks, it's the only course I have ever played where you play the front 8 holes, cross a railway track, play 9 holes and then re-cross the track to play the 18th back to the clubhouse.
In good shape for the time of year.

Unfortunately I played here after a hard rain and there was quite a lot of water on the course.
However I was able to see that the course is a little gem.
i plan to return as soon as possible when things have dried out.

To be fair, the windy conditions when i played, made the game unenjoyable. The greens were slow, fairways hard but playable however the wind was the pits. Left after 9 holes.
If it's going to a windy day don't bother.

A straight ahead, no tricks, well maintained executive type course. A couple of longer holes to bring out the bigger sticks.

There are too many other low cost courses in the area to bother with El Rio. A dried out cow pasture with condos next to the fairways. I hate to give a review like this but that is what it is.

It may be the season but the course conditions need a lot of work. Tee blocks, fairways and greens, playable just not as good as it could be.
