We're past peak season in the Phoenix-Scottsdale golf mecca, but that isn't stopping Ak-Chin Southern Dunes Golf Club from leading Golf Advisor in ratings for the week of May 11.
Ak-Chin Southern Dunes, a Troon Golf-managed facility, is enjoying a strong season of reviews following a grand reopening after a summer renovation to the facility, which also includes the #MiniDunes short course aimed at families and casual afternoon rounds.
"Southern Dunes was a great change of pace with respect to the other Phoenix area courses," wrote Top 1000 contributor to Golf Advisor Tonyjm74 in his May review. "This is more of a 'links-style' course with minimal elevation changes."
