El Campeon at Mission Inn in Florida tops Power Rankings for the week of Dec. 14

As we enter the home stretch of 2015, a warm spell has engulfed much of this nation, meaning there could be far more people playing golf on Christmas weekend than normal.

Despite much of the U.S. managing to keep courses open, it's the courses of Orlando, Fla. that continue to dominate the Golf Advisor Power Rankings. This week, El Campeon at Mission Inn Resort & Club leads the way over last week's winner, Panther Lake at Orange County National .

El Campeon is on the brink of celebrating 100 years of golf in Howey in the Hills, Fla. Located northwest of Orlando, it is the top rated course in the Orlando Destination Guide and in the past six months, 39 of 49 reviews have scored 5 stars overall.

"Have been playing the old course since 1984," saratoga90 wrote . "Always special, never disappoints."
