The top-rated golf course of the week is a familiar name on Golf Advisor: Snow Mountain at Las Vegas Paiute Golf Resort . Snow Mountain represents one-third of the Paiute experience, which has been one of the most consistently top-rated facilities since our ratings-and-reviews site launched.
When you look at the text of these recent reviews, it reveals an operation that tends to fire on all cylinders.
I played the course in a hit summer day but it was totally worth it. Driving range had unlimited balls and plenty of stalls from grass and not matts. Holes were long from the back tees and fairways were immaculate. Greens were smooth and quick. Plenty of hazards added to the challenge. Marshall was super friendly as were the individuals a bag drop, pro shop and cart girl. I wI'll definitely play Paiute again next time I visit Vegas.
Mission Inn's El Campeon Course (second-ranked nationally in 2015), was a close second to Snow Mountain. The remainder of the top 10 features courses both in the South and North, as well as a PGA Tour venue and a course that made our top 50 under $50 best-of list .

Review of the week
Royal Manchester made the third spot in this week's power rankings thanks in part to a review from one of our Local Golf Advisors . PlayItForward280 , our central Pennsylvania Advisor, awarded the course five stars in almost every category and wrote :
We teed off on one of the hottest, muggiest days so far this summer. Shoes and thunderstorms were threatening, and they hit with a vengeance! We came in after four holes to wait out the storm, tried again when it ended, and scurried right back when lightning struck very nearby. We completed our round after the storms passed. The course drains very well as it is built on mounds of fly ash mixed with sand from the power plant that looms over the course. These mounds provide visual barriers between fairways so that one feels secluded while on the course. The course architecture is very appealing with a variety of ups, downs, and doglegs. Fairways and greens are in wonderful shape. Sand in the bunkers is very nice to play out of, even after a heavy rain. Blue, white. gold, and red tees are well placed to give every golfer a chance at par. Even first timers can find their way around these links easily, thanks to outstanding signage on the cart paths. This is the best course I've played in south central PA.
