The five best 'stadium' course experiences in golf

Attending a golf tournament held on a stadium-style course provides a better experience than most events.

Fans get better views, the crowd traffic tends to flow better and the roars from the gallery are louder. So which courses and tournaments reap these all-important benefits?

Golf Channel Travel Expert Matt Ginella and show co-host Gary Williams discussed the five best "stadium" courses in golf. No. 1 and No. 5 on Ginella's list might surprise you. They were built decades before the Tournament Players Club courses made the stadium concept relevant, but the natural rolling terrain makes for great tournament golf, both from a player and fan perspective.
