Ginella's Journeys: Scottsdale, Arizona golf and my top five courses to play

Prime time in Scottsdale extends from the holidays right through January and the Waste Management Phoenix Open. It continues, however, with Major League Baseball's Cactus League Spring Training and all the way through April.

There's plenty to do on and off the course at this time of year. In this edition of "Ginella's Journeys," I play golf at We-Ko-Pa with Bill Coore, check out Old Town Scottsdale, TopGolf at Talking Stick, Spring Training and much more.

Ginella's Journeys: Scottsdale

Earlier this year, I named my top five courses to play in Phoenix-Scottsdale:

Ginella's Top 5 courses to play in Phoenix-Scottsdale

1. Stadium Course at TPC Scottsdale

2. Saguaro Course at We-Ko-Pa

3. Monument Course at Troon North Golf Club

4. North Course at Talking Stick Golf Club

5. Padre at Camelback Golf Club

You can see how that compares to the Golf Advisor Top 25 courses in Arizona in 2015, rated by reviews throughout the year.
