Golf Advisor's Top 20 courses in Ontario in 2014

As golf courses across Canada begin opening for the 2015 golf season, we're announcing the top courses in Ontario as rated by golfers on Golf Advisor.

From metro Toronto to Muskoka and Niagara, it's a very diverse list indeed, ranging from championship courses to nine-holers and executive courses. Great rounds come in all shapes and sizes and is evident here.

Checking in at no. 1 on the year was North Granite Ridge Golf Club, located in the province's Muskoka region, a popular golf hotspot. The course received 26 ratings on the year and scored a tidy 4.65/5.0. It's top subcategory on the year was Staff Friendliness, meaning that perhaps it was a smiling face or two in the golf shop that pushed this course over the top.

"A beautiful golf course that is challenging and well maintained," wrote reviewer danothemano after his round in July. "Each hole is a view that can only be seen in the lush Muskoka Forest."

You can view the rest of the top 20 in the comments below. Any snubs that were left off the list? Be sure to let us know in the comments below, and maybe they'll appear in next year's ranking.
