HOUSTON, Texas -- Fall is for football, but it's also the best time of the year to play golf. The leaves are turning, the weather is getting cooler, and turf conditions are usually never better.
Of course there may be no better combination than football and golf. The perfect weekend would consist of a round or two of golf followed by tailgating and a professional football game.
Even better perhaps, if you you're not a football fan, hit the links in an NFL city on a Sunday afternoon. There's a good chance you'll have the course all to yourself, and you might even get a break on price.
