Super muni: Haymaker Golf Course in Steamboat Springs, Colorado

STEAMBOAT SPRINGS, Colo. -- One of the best munis in Colorado, Haymaker Golf Course is a Keith Foster design that features a links-like front nine and more traditional back nine.

Tipping out at 7,308 yards, this par 72 has five sets of tees, including a family option that plays just 2,724 yards.

The golf course has a great variety of holes, including a couple of drivable par 4s and a good mix of short and long par 3s and par 5s.

In addition, Haymaker has excellent practice facilities, dining room, well stocked golf shop and offers Golf Bikes for use in addition to powered carts, though the golf course is very walker friendly.
