Now in its third year, the Caddie and Leadership Academy at Goat Hill Park continues to grow.

Want to contribute to the future of caddies in America?

On Monday, June 24th, a fundraiser will be taking place at Goat Hill Park for the Caddie & Leadership Academy and North County Junior Golf Association. In an effort to raise money for these organizations, John Ashworth, founder of Linksoul and operator of Goat Hill Park, is inviting out friends, family, and whoever would like to attend to play 108 holes at Goat Hill and raise money doing so. The NCJGA is a 501c3 non-profit foundation that introduces the game of golf to young boys and girls, ages 5-18, and makes it affordable for them to learn and participate.

Caddies and golf go hand-in-hand and provide many networking opportunities for kids as they get older and meet people from all different backgrounds. The NCJGA provides scholarships for tournaments, and gives kids the opportunity to learn from golf’s very best. Donations are 100% tax deductible and any amount helps. You can see the program in action in this video featuring Oliver Horowitz and the young caddies at Goat Hill Park on ShopwithGolf.com.

Now in its third year, the number of local kids signed up to participate in the Caddie & Leadership Academy has doubled. Donations can be a flat amount or per hole played with optional incentives for birdies, eagles and aces.
