At Golf Advisor we know you're passionate about playing the game. This year, golfers have already written more than 100,000 reviews of golf courses around the world and counting.
And based on dialogue between our editorial team's various social media handles and your own, we know you have even more to say.
That's why we're happy to announce that one of the newest features at www.GolfAdvisor.com is the launch of article commenting.
Not only a source of user-generated reviews but also home to hundreds of feature stories, destination spotlights, photo galleries and best-of lists from our editorial staff. Between myself, Golf Channel's Matt Ginella, Senior Writers Mike Bailey and Jason Scott Deegan and other contributors, we've got just about every hot golf destination in the world covered.
To comment on any articles from our editorial team, all you need is a Golf Advisor account (which is also the same log-in for GolfNow.com, LastMinuteGolfer.com or TeeTimes.com). Readers can also share and like articles on their various social media accounts, including Twitter and Facebook.
Our articles consist of destination features, newsworthy items and travel tips. We'll also be posting lists like Matt Ginella's Top 20 Courses in the U.S. or Jason Scott Deegan's top 15 courses in northern Michigan . Your golf and travel questions can also help us compile mailbag articles that let us share some wisdom on how to plan your next trip.
Readers will be able to "like," reply and share comments and articles with fellow golfers. One user, par4thecourse , is already in on the action, replying to Ginella's mailbag article on some courses he has to check out on his next trip to northern Michigan.
"MattyG," he wrote. "If you even get back up here, you need to explore some of the 'locals' courses. Benzie County may be the smallest county in Michigan per square miles, but we boast some of the best value courses in the state, all within a 30 minute drive."
Later this year, we will be releasing user-rated lists in destinations throughout the U.S. and around the world, where you'll be able to see if your fellow golfers are on the mark or not.
We also invite your golf and travel questions, which can be left in articles -- or find our core writing team on social media at the following Twitter handles:
And I'm always scouring the latest reviews you've written to see which courses our editorial staff should be visiting next.
So chime in and get a conversation going. You can start by reviewing courses through their course guide pages or by commenting in our articles .
